Great hotel, location was perfect, most of the attractions were within walking distance. Staff is very very friendly, extremely helpful and polite. If I ever come back in Prague I would definitely stay here.
The eternal story where if you are staying only a night, no matter the price, you are receiving the worst room in the hotel. And still the check-in was at 2 o`clock p.m., maybe because they had to arrange this room specially near some storage closet. The so named parking space, of course they are advertising that is a parking at this "beautiful" hotel in the city center, but is a struglle to park, you must leave the keys so they have the possibility to move the cars around and you find at leaving that all the set-ups in your car are gone, thanks to the skillful drivers. And you pay extra 20 Eur for this thing. The bar at the hotel is a joke, so if you want a hotel with parking maybe you´ll find another one.
Customer service was rude where questions were answered in a short manner and in a condescending way. Trying to check out the lady ignored us behind her computer until I said something. There were no greetings when entering or leaving throughout our two day stay. The two men at the desk during the night were helpful and friendly, yet the reception the entire time made us feel not appreciated for our business. I would not stay here again because of their customer service. If you’re ok with an uncaring reception, room 406 was large, clean, a wonderful tub to soak in and a very comfortable bed!
The main area in the city was just around the corner and the old town is within a leisure stroll. The hotel is in an old building, not built to be a hotel, but charming. Good beds, huge well equipped rooms. A good breakfast, I recommend this hotel
This picture did not look like our room--quite misleading... Having said so, though, our room was fine. It was plenty roomy, and I thought the combined tub/shower was unique and quite European. The location was fantastic, nestled in between Old & New Town. The breakfast was all right but convenient. The staff were very nice. The parking was $25/night but at least there was parking.
