We stayed here for 5 days in September. The hotel is very clean, located within walking distance of Pragues main attractions. We paid 200 euros for 4 nights. The staff are ok in the hotel, once you don't need to ask them much. There are lots of bars and resturants all within a few minutes walk. If you need a...

The hotel is easy to find and accessible 24/7. For the room and to enter the hotel at night you get a key-pass. The room was very neat and spacious. Big comfortable beds with airconditioning. There is a minibar, tv and a save (last one is free for use). Bathroom was a nice size. Cleaning is done every day. Very...

Location - Not too bad, only 5 mins from Muzeum Metro station and wenzeslas square. Very easy to find, just make sure to leave metro station from the right direction. Plenty of reasonable restaurants and bars nearby and small shops for anything you may have forgot next door. There is a sex shop over the road but it appears to...

The hotel is average in nearly every way. The location is close enough to Wesleslas Square, but not close to the Old Town. The rooms are clean and the hotel provides everything it claims to provide, but for me it is missing that little bit extra that you expect when staying at a 4* hotel. It lacks character and atmosphere....

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, and I think it´s really nice. The location is not the best, however, near the hotel you´ll find cheaper restaurants and shops. You can take a metro to this hotel, or you can walk from the old town. Really good restaurants near the hotel!!! Room was clean and nice, the air-conditioning didn´t work...

We stayed there in a weekend trip at room 110. It was a very clean room which had everything you can expect from a 4 star hotel and more. The room was very clean. Bathroom was very nice. Furnitures and the building itself was very new. Wireless internet worked without any problem. I reserved a parking slot with the reservation...

The room was very comfortable and had a nice breakfast. The location, however, is very seedy and out-of-the-way.

The hotel was very clean and modern. The desk clerk was very fluent in both English and German. There is limited parking at the hotel, but we paid about 20 Euros per day. The parking is underground in a secured garage. There was wireless internet access for free. Walking to major attractions was less than 30 minutes.

Located close to most all points of interest. Within easy walking distance. AC didnot work or work very well and could not open the windows. Good breakfast.

We have just returned from 3 nights staying at the Archibald City in Prague. Never having been to Prague before we chose this hotel because it was reasonably priced and seemed to be in a good location. It's located only a 5-minute walk from Wenceslas Square. The area itself is fine - a tad seedy but certainly not dangerous. There...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
