I recommend this hotel and especially the Attic Suite. If you have trouble walking up multiple flights of stairs then you may possibly want to get a regular room and not the attic sweet. However aside from that the attic suite was lovely and quaint and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The housekeeping did...

We booked a grand deluxe double room through their website which had a special of staying 4 nights but only paying for 3. We also had our breakfast included in the price. We arrived late at night but had organised a transfer from the airport with the hotel. Our driver Charles collected us from the airport after we had arrived...

This hotel has a perfect location. You will not do better with any other hotel location. It's very centralized with ability to walk to the Jewish quarter, Prague Castle complex, little quarter, and the new town. My only complaint would be the crowds of people constantly on the Old Square. The rooms are great. I can't believe this is only...

Dear Sir/Madam, thank you, for your absolutely best respond to our accommodation, that just made my day. I am also glad to read, that you have enjoyed our services provided and even though the crowed outside can be crazy noisy the room stays quit, which is exactly what we are trying to achieve. Have visited Prague on numerous occasions and usually stay in the lesser town which is quieter, however decided to stay right in the heart of the city, chose this hotel for the view from the room of the astronomical clock and wow what a view!!!! No need to wait outside to watch it just sit in your room with a...

Grand Hotel Praha is located right on the corner at the old town square and right next to the astronomical clockwork. The rooms are charming and large. The staff is amazing, and an example of that was - "we offer free of charge what you want at the Mozart cafe". Such a nice gesture as our room wasn't ready for...

Our room was directly across from the astronomical clock and we could see it from our bed. This hotel has a fantastic breakfast included and the rooms were large and very comfortable. Make sure you have an electrical converter to plug in you US devices. They can be purchased everywhere in Europe for about 2 euros. Make sure you go...

Very nice hotel, set in the main old town square. Cars do not go there, but its only, maybe a 100m walk to where cars can come upto. The hotel arranges people to bring your baggage when you come as well as when you depart. Nice restaurants there, they hold Jazz and Classical Concerts there nightly with a full dinner....

Dear Sir/Madam, thank you, for your resond to our accommodation. Yes, if you prefere a room, with an elevator access, then write a little note for us at the reservation, so we can accommodate you in the main building. And yes, cars are not allowed directly to the hotel, but a minut away from our hotel and our reception staff...

This is a hotel in an old building, right on the Old Town Square. It is right across from the famous and wonderful Astrological Clock. We had a problem on our first day in Prague. The hotel had overbooked and there was no room for us. Fortunately, the really excellent staff had booked us a room at another hotel and...

Dear Sir/Madam, thank you for yuor respond to our accommodation. First of all I am very sorry, to read, that you have been mooved to another room, due to the over booked hotel, that is a shame. Second, yes, I know what you mean by the separate covers in bed, that is unfortunately, our Czech costume, we do sleep under...

An odd set up in which a top dollar hotel is concealed above shops. Reception is on the first floor and not easy to find. A pokey but well appointed room affords a view of sorts of the leading tourist attraction in Prague. Hence the expense. Beware of the "apartment", which is some way away from the main hotel and...

Our spacious room looked right out at the clock and views around the square were fabulous. Bathtub in our deluxe room was wonderful after tour days. Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
