Our spacious room looked right out at the clock and views around the square were fabulous. Bathtub in our deluxe room was wonderful after tour days. Having a shower in another room was smart and convenient. Breakfast each morning was delicious, plentiful and nicely prepared. Quaint look to interior, huge king bed very firm. Bring your own clock and walk...

We booked a grand deluxe double room through their website which had a special of staying 4 nights but only paying for 3. We also had our breakfast included in the price. We arrived late at night but had organised a transfer from the airport with the hotel. Our driver Charles collected us from the airport after we had arrived...

Located right in the heart of the old city square! Need to walk 100 meters from the taxi drop off! If order airport pick up from hotel(30 euro) , porter will help out luggage at the drop off place and guide you to the hotel. The hotel has rooms in two separate buildings next to each other. The main hotel...

Reserved a room for a 5 nights stay overlooking the town square. Based on the pictures shown on Bookings.com, expected a large room with two windows and plenty of space but the actual room was very small with only one window; probably two-thirds of published square footage. Room facing town square was also just above the outside dining area so...

Before we arrived at the hotel we had a problem whereby British Airways failed to put on one of our bags on the plane when departing Heathrow.. We arrived at the Prague airport and our trip took us to Brno that day. As we were staying at the Grand Hotel Praha the 2nd night of our 3 night trip to...

Location is good. The outside is fancy and so is interior, kept old style. The rooms are spacious with high sealing and enormous windows. At the check in we received a key and went to the room where we found things of another guest already staying at the room. Very unfortunate. Cleaning was done very poorly. We found rubbish from...

I really liked this hotel. It's got character. Unlike a lot of surrounding places, the service was pleasant and professional, instead of the dour "what do you want" attitude of some restaurants and bars. Breakfast was a top class continental buffet. We dined in the restaurant one night. The food was very good, the view of the Old Town Square...

Fabulous boutique hotel! Great location! Concierge staff very available & most helpful...we especially loved Martin! Dining Room/Hotel had over 50 unique antique CLOCKS⏳ I tried taking a photo of each and everyone🍾 Breakfast (included) was exceptional, with lovely view of the famous astronomical clock. A very happening place right on The Old Town Square🍺

Having always wanting to visit this amazing city, we really couldn't have asked for a better hotel in terms of location and charm. Your taxi won't be able to get to the entrance as you right bang in the middle of the action so go easy on the luggage. As soon as you get onto the stretch toward the Astronomical...

A good hotel in a great location right on the old town square opposite the astronomical clock. We had booked a room overlooking the clock and the view didn't disappoint. The room itself was well furnished, the only disappointment was the over bath shower that you could not stand under. The staff were all very nice as was the breakfast...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
