Nové Město (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

Very nice hotel near the center. Rooms are not very comfortable sometimes depending on the floor and the view. Breakfast is a little bit "minimal" but good. I believe that is a good place to stay in Prague comparing to other hotels.

The hotel was comfortable enough and all the staff spoke English. However, the room was very compact and the bathroom even more compact and we found it difficult to get into the bath for the overhead shower. Food was very limited. Location for us was good, easy to walk to

My girlfriend and I stayed in the hotel with two other couples for three nights. We were pleased with our room, had an excellent view as the room was on a corner with three large windows and we loved the high ceilings. Only negative with the room was the shower room leaked

Hi, What is the nearest train station to this Hotel called? Thanks!
It is highly unlikely that your train would terminate at any other station unless you are arriving on a local train from a small town near Prague. Walk out of the station on the ground floor, cross a small park turn right on Opletalova street and the hotel is a little over a block on the corner

I don't know the laws there either- the advice to ring or email is good as they will probably look at your passport or photo ID

Are there kettle and slippers be provided in room?
Hi there No kettle or slippers but some rooms do have coffee machines in. Watch out as there air conditioning was broken when I went and I was told that until they do a refit it could not be fixed. I would look on there resent reviews to see .

How much will a taxi cost from the airport direct to the hotel? Thank you
Hi there. The cheapest option is if you book a return transfer with the hotel directly. They will send you a driver for when your flight lands. Approx 45 euros return. Taxis from the airport tend to cost more. Hope that helps :-)
