I booked this hotel for 10 of us and I booked directly with the manager Patrick. The entire process was simple and the communication with the hotel and Patrick was first class. The hotel is decorated in an Art Deco style which is completed to a high standard. The rooms are clean and spacious enough and the fittings are of...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 16 November 2016

The Hastal Hotel is probably the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in throughout Europe! The staff is always willing to assist the guests and to do all they can to make sure the stay in Prague is enjoyable. As one of the clerks told us, they try to treat each guest as if they were family! And we certainly...

I am never able to sleep as well as I would like in a hotel bed, especially not the first night. But this hotel's beds were so comfortable, I slept great all 3 nights we were there. To celebrate a 30th birthday, I had booked this hotel, because I wanted us to stay somewhere authentic. I'm so glad I did!...

We booked a room for 3 people directly through the hotel (and received confirmation). Upon arrival, we were told that we had booked two rooms, which was incorrect per our reservation confirmation. The hotel staff said it could have been due to an error with a third party site (such as Expedia, etc.), but the room was booked directly with...

Stayed at the Hastel for my better halfs birthday. It is conveniently situated for a short walk to the main square. The hotel and staff are really friendly and amazingly helpful. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Still cannot get used to the small duvets. The breakfasts were plentiful and what you expect to get for breakfast. All in...

I was terribly disappointed with breakfast. We stayed 5 days and I noticed food was exactly the same every day, just a bit less left by every day. Even spoon was fallen in the sauce in same position, so I am sure it was warmed over with the spoon in the sauce. Fruits were old and dried out. Kitchen lady...

Prague is such a beautiful city, and it is the first time i have been. The hotel is very classic looking with the era it was trying to express. The staff there were very welcoming and the room we had on the 4th floor was huge with the most comfortable bed ever! The location was just a stone throw away...

Just back from a couples long weekend in Prague. We chose this hotel mainly for its location but it was much more than that. The rooms are very nice, well equipped and clean. We had room 22 which had the only balcony in the hotel. The staff at the hotel are very helpful and genuinely interested in making your stay...

This was my 4th visit to this hotel and it did not disappoint. I booked direct with Patrick, the hotel manager, who got me a great deal. The hotel is in a great location, near a quiet little square, just 5 minutes walk to the Old Town. The hotel offers peace and tranquility but you are very close to all...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
