We were very happy with our stay at the Hotel Hastel Prague . It is a very comfortable hotel with spacious, clean rooms - a good value. This is a small, family run hotel in a building with great history. The breakfast was plentiful with hot and cold items. The staff were pleasant and helpful with questions and directions - a special shout out to Tom at the front desk. He gave us very helpful information about Prague - how to get around, good restaurants, off the beaten track sites, ect. Check out the Food Lab restaurant which is a couple of blocks away from the hotel - excellent menu and cocktails! The location was perfect for our needs - as everything is walkable in the Old Town area of Prague and the close by Tram and Underground transit stops provide easy access to all of Prague's main locations.. We can highly recommend this hotel in the Old Town area of Prague.

The hotel was located in the heart of Prague Old Town, close to all the tourist attractions. It was a beautiful hotel with a very luxurious atmosphere, and felt like a scene from a movie.
There was a bathrobe and hair dryer in the room, and the shower had no problems with water pressure or temperature. There was a coffee machine and snacks (bread and cakes) in the lobby, so you could relax at any time. The breakfast was also delicious and had a wide variety of options.
I had an online meeting scheduled after checking out, but the staff kindly allowed me to work in the lobby, which allowed me to stay comfortably.

We stayed here for several days in November based on the recommendation of a popular guide-book (a copy of which they have in their lobby library). The recommendation was spot-on — the location, decor, staff, breakfast, value, and comfortable furnishings really helped us to feel at home! we had an incredible time in Prague, and our stay at Hotel Haštal was a big part of that! The location is great but the beauty of the property, its wonderful decoration, and the comfortable common spaces really make it special! All of the staff were wonderful, too, keeping the place tidy and welcoming with a kind word and a smile. In particular, Ozman and Sofian helped to make our stay extra-special, routinely going out of their way to be helpful and kind. Ozman even greeted us warmly with a smile when he saw us out in town shopping! The staff also remembered a special occasion for us during our stay and left a special gift in our room! I really hope that I get to come back to Prague someday; when I do, I’ll stay at Hotel Haštal again!

My partner and I had such a lovely stay at this hotel. We were there over Christmas and the hotel was cutely decorated for the holiday. Our double room was very nice and cozy, and the bathroom was nice with hot water and good pressure in the shower. There was complementary drinking water in our room that was refreshed each day, and on Christmas Eve a bag of chocolates was left in our room which were quite delicious. The hotel lobby offers complementary coffee, tea, and wine, which was very generous and which we enjoyed during our stay. Our booking came with breakfast included and it was very good with plenty of options. The reception staff are nice and friendly and the hotel is conveniently located just a 5 minute walk from the old town square. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Dear Shayan, Thank you so much for choosing to stay with us an enjoying our romantic design choices for the holiday season. We though that it would be a special luxury if we left little gifts for those guests who chose to stay with us for Christmas and the New Year, it is a modern tradition that we want to do for each holiday. We spent a week at the Hotel Hastal at the end of September. This was our first trip to Prague and the Hotel had a great location for our sightseeing. The hotel is on a quiet beautiful street in the Old Town and only a 10 minute walk to the famous clock in the Old Town square. The hotel had a great look with an authentic Art Nouveau feel from the early 20th century. Our room had comfortable beds and even though it was right next to the elevator, was very quiet. The hotel staff were helpful answering questions, giving directions, recommending restaurants from the many nearby choices and arranging sightseeing tours and other transportation.
We have one special reason to be grateful to the hotel staff. After checking out we were at the Prague airport and got a call from the hotel telling us they had found a jewelry box in our room. After getting back to the US the hotel, especially the manager worked to find the best way to make sure we got the jewelry which has great sentimental value back.

The hotel fully deserves a 5 star rating. We stayed there for 3 days and were delighted with the accommodations. The hotel is family owned, small, historic, intimate, clean, comfortable, centrally located and a good value. The hotel has been renovated with modern facilities but has kept its warm and friendly charm. One feature that we especially appreciated was a modern walkin shower because of our age and partial handicap. The staff, particularly Tom and Christian, were exceptionally helpful and went out of their way to ensure our every need was met. For example, Christian, the owner's son, personally came to our room to adjust the TV because we were not familiar with the remote control. Both were well informed and offered excellent advise about places to visit and eat, especially within walking distant. Both were fluent in English. When we needed transport, they made the arrangements, either a taxi or Uber, and instructed the driver where we wanted to go and informed us as to how to get transport back to the hotel. Breakfast was included and there was an array of hot and cold food to accommodate both European and American tastes. In sum, staying at the Hastal Prague Old Town contributed to our very enjoyable visit to Prague. Looking forward to another visit and stay at this lovely hotel next year.

Hotel located in the center of Prague Old Town. Its strength is its proximity to the old town and all major tourist attractions. The second strong point is the welcome: as soon as you enter you are immediately provided with wine, hot tea, chocolate coffee or water to recover from the cold outside. Reception always available, spotless rooms, good breakfast, although the room should be larger because there is not enough capacity for all guests, who sometimes embarrassed remain standing. Except for this small detail, the hotel is highly recommended for the cleanliness, proximity and quality of services Returned.

This hotel is unique, charming, and in an excellent location. We were only a 15-minute walk to old-town. There are 2 small convenience stores within one block. There is a very good, large, beer hall directly across from the hotel. There's also a small laundry service around the corner, where they will wash and fold your clothes (you pay by the kilogram of weight of your dirty clothes). The breakfast buffet was very good. We recommend this hotel while you're in Prague.

What an incredible experience. The location is both close to all of sites you would wish to explore while in the city, yet extremely quiet as it is off the main drag. The rooms, lobby and entire building are clean and have tremendous character. Water pressure is great! Breakfast is outstanding! What really makes this place special is the owner and the staff. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday. Our traveling companion asked at the front desk if we could borrow a few plates to take up to our room as we were getting a cake from a local bakery. The owner felt that was insufficient. He had his staff set us up in a back room with plates, silverware, and threw in a bottle of wine without asking for a penny. This is definitely the place to stay when staying in Prague!

Great friendliness of the day reception employees. Well located in the Old City. Our room was a Deluxe Double/Twin Room and was spacious enough with very pleasant and quiet views of an old church. The room had everything I needed (wardrobe, safe, comfortable duvets, bathrobe, slippers, etc.). In short, very comfortable for us. We ordered two more hangers and they were served immediately. In the common area there was always free coffee, tea, and wine. The breakfast was quite complete, although not the best. One of the days (close to closing time) some product was missing. And another day the place was too full (although you could take breakfast to another room). The quality of some other products, such as orange juice, was only acceptable. Its 4 stars are comparable with those of any other European hotel, which means that in Spain it would be between 3 and 4 stars, since there is a reason we are the most rigorous country in Europe in terms of star level. And regarding the price, it worked out very well for two reasons: because we booked it directly on the hotel's website, whose price per night decreased depending on the number of nights (in our case 5 nights) and because they gave a good discount when paying in metal when we leave. Good option to visit Prague.
