Lovely small hotel in a great, central location-for walking to the sites, restaurants and more. Helpful staff, clean rooms, and hearty breakfast included in the reasonable price. We stayed 4 nights, and enjoyed our stay at the Hastel.
Arrived late as our flight was delayed. A very warm welcome greeted us. We were given our key and a much needed glass of wine for mother. My initial thoughts on the hotel was wow! Once in our room my thoughts were the same. Big...More

The Hastal is part of the history of Josefov, having been run by the same family for generations through all of the historical upheavals Prague has experienced. Our room was comfortable, clean, and blissfully quiet at night, despite being a 10-minute walk away from the...More

One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the
modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.

Yes there is a lift. My wife and I liked the place. We also used their airport pickup which was reasonable and nice. We also liked the near by restaurant -- I think it's "behind" the church (the desk made a reservation for us). All in all we liked the place and would stay there again if we ever return to Prague. We also liked Prague Food Tour. If you like to shoot pistols and/or rifles try Celeritas Shooting Club. It's easy to get to using public transportation. Hope you enjoy your trip.
