A very nice hotel, with traditional czec style furniture and very polite and efficient staff. Rooms are spotlessy clean and rather large, basically furnished (no bar in the room), fre wi fi. No frills, but very reasonably priced. i also recommend the restaurant in the basement. It's just under the Vysenrad castle, near the river and just four stops from...

The hostel is a little bit far from Prague Center (1.5 km), but the location is great, because it's near Vyserad Castle. You can take the tram or walk to the city centre. The breakfast was great, very complete, and the staff was very helpful and friendly, even if some of them didn't speak english very well. The room was...

Stayed only one night but satisfied. Walking distance from the center, at night could walk among Vltava back to hotel. Wifi, good breakfast in a nice room. Big living room with table and it's separated by door from bedroom.

We have visited Prague together with 10 friends. The Hotel is situated in the very heart of Prague, only 200m away from the Vyserad area with its massive old walls and the City Center and the Carls Bridge are 20 min walk or 5 min on the Tram. Rooms were clean and rather big. Staff was super friendly and speaks...

U Semika was a wonderful surprise in our trip. I traveled with my husband and two teenager girls. The hotel was cute, spacious rooms with flower in the big white windows. Location very good, with easy access to public transportation. The staff very friendly and helpful. And the restaurant very good.

Went to Prague to visit the Christmas market and chose the U Semika Hotel. Location is in my opinion excellent, there is a tram stop at the bottom of the hill no more than a minutes walk away, with Wenceslas square, Charles Bridge and Prague Castle a short tram ride away. Found the service to be very friendly and helpful,...

After reading all the reviews here, I was expecting better. Rooms are ok, but the walls are so thin that if you happen to have noisy people next door like I did, you'll basically hear everything they say. Location is just fine as there are no shops or café around. The best part of this hotel is the restaurant. If...

I have visited Prague 3 times now, my husband a few times more, and we always stay at this hotel. It's a bit out of the city centre, but only a 20 minutes scenic walk along the river. The quality offered for the price you're paying is supurb. The hotel has a bar and restaurant where they serve very nice,...

We stayed at the hotel U Semika with my wife on March. The positive first impressions started with the exchanged e-mails, the willingness to serviceof the staff was excellent. The impressions continued during our staying at the hotel. Very courteous and helpful staff! Extra mention for the restaurant/breakfast staff, never seen such friendly and professional waitresses in any Prague hotel!...

We went to Prague for the New Years Eve celebration. We stayed in the U Semika hotel, because we found it ok from several points of view - price, location, good reviews on this website. Everything was very nice- the staff (mainly the hotel manager, a very helpful young girl, and 2 girls from the restaurant) were very helpful indeed....
