Good hostel, but a little lowly. Shared bathroom and showers are for both male and female, which I think is quite akward. They do not have a nice common area for meeting other guests. I recommend this hostel because it is cheap, but it is really no big deal. Good thing is that they offer free bed linen, free security...

This is the worst hostel I ever stayed at, you can hear someone sneeze down the hallway when you're in your bed. The entire place stinks, our bedroom smelled like pee, so bad that we had to buy air freshener...

We stayed at the AZ Hostel in one of the dorm rooms with 6 bunks or so. As this was a stag do we had low expectations and booked the cheapest hotel/hostel we could find. The room was DISGUSTING. It was dirty, very damp, it smelt horrible and the duvets and pillows inside the cases were FULL of stains and...

We booked last minute tickets to Prague on Easter weekend. We were lucky enough to find this place off the street and they took us in. Location is in the heart of the city and the receptionist was more than willing to help us find places around prague for free tours, to get from a to b etc. Very helpful...

I stayed in AZ Hostel during New Year's Eve period. The prices for the accomodation were reasonable. The hostel is located in a very good area, close to the Mustek metro station. The room was clean but very simple. Don't expect any luxury;) What I liked most about this place was a very professional and nice personnel. They let us into room...

This was absolutely perfect for us. We had a double room, which was simple but very clean - that's all we needed. The toilets and bathroom were in adequate numbers and very clean. Showers were clean and with nice hot water. The location of the Hostel is perfect - near enough to walk to quite a few places but also...

The location is perfect. You can do everything by foot from this location. The facilities are also good, especially the showers. However, there are no breakfast served and I didn't see any lockers to put your stuff in .

Location is awesome. Right in the middle of everything, a few minutes walk away from everything you could want to visit and right next to a lot of clubs. Like very near. Like so near you can hear the music if the windows are open. Also, the showers don't work very well, with an entire floor sharing 4 showers, when...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
