I’ll start with the good. This hotel is in a great location with a fantastic Italian place right across the street along with a street market open right on the street. It’s walking distance to major attractions like the Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, and the Jewish Quarter. The down side is we did a 10 day trip to multiple cities (meaning a large suitcase and bag for each person) and there was no elevator. Also, no AC even thought the reviews say there is and fans are first come first serve. It was very eccentric with its artwork and the fact that there isn’t someone onsite but all-in-all I would stay there again...if I had lighter luggage.
Overall, this is a great hotel that’s in a fantastic location, but there are a few things that could’ve made our stay better. 1) There is no elevator. So if you have heavy luggage, you need to be able to carry/drag your bag up a couple flights of stairs. 2) The guy at the front desk didn’t seem to have any idea as to what he was doing when we checked in. He got our groups rooms mixed up, and messed up everyone’s passport info, so he had to come back and get them a second time. 3) There was an AC in the room, but it was apparently broken, or nobody could figure out how to get it to work. Also, it seemed like there were oscillating fans in every room except ours. So our room had stale air the whole time we slept. 4) Since it is located in a very popular area, it gets very loud at night. Make sure you have earplugs or some kind of sound generator if you are a light sleeper. Like I said, overall the room and location were fantastic, but there were a couple of things that should be worked on (working AC/fan and more helpful staff) or that you should be prepared for (no elevator and noise). …
Very average 3* hotel, a bit dated, very limited services (ie, no restaurant, bar, other facilities) but is in an amazing location. 3 mins walk to the Astronomical Clock, the old town; 5 mins walk to Charles Bridge. 15 mins walk to Prague main rail station. If you're looking for a a reasonably priced placed to stay in the city centre its very good. No frills, no luxury.
Stayed for 2 nights and 2 days. This place is amazing. Right in the middle of city center (5 minutes walk to the square). Farmers market on same street and right out the gate you are in the middle of all action. Interior is amazing. Specially the design on roof, furniture and feel makes you feel you are in Prague 24/7. Very comfy and open. Breakfast was not too fancy but excellent enough to star the day. We had to checkout at 3:30 AM for the flight and there were tons of options (Local Taxi, Uber and Bolt). All were available right outside the hotel door. Next time we go to Prague, we are staying there again.
Arrived after a long flight about 11am and the room wasn't ready so had to stall about 1-2 hours before I could get in. There was no bell man or elevator so lugging a 50lb bag up 2.5 flights was not ideal. Reception staff was nice but limited English. The room and bath were great, breakfast was average. The noise level is high so didn't sleep well. After a long run I was asking for water and the lady said you can drink the water in your room at a charge and water was only free at breakfast. At check out I left my door open to make 2 trips down the long staircase and was scolded for doing so. Based on my other stays this was not my favorite.
