We booked a large number of rooms at this hotel & there were no probems with the booking or accomodating so many people (in excess of 20). On arrival we were all pleased with the appearance of the hotel & each room was modern, clean & well equipped. The public areas consisted of a simple restaurant area, modern bar &...

Went to Prague and stayed at Clarion Hotel Prague on January 2006 and enjoyed our stay. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful to us, rooms were clean.. Hotel's location was excellent for us, close to old city centre - Tin Church and Astrological Clock Tower.. I can recommend a nearby restaurant named like "Bufallo Bill's", and a bar named...

In Prague for 2 nights on business. Used trip advisor's reviews when deciding on this hotel. Good location. Very clean, well maintained, friendly and helpful staff. Free internet connection which was great but no WIFI. You do pay a premium on taxi's arranged through the hotel but did not have to wait. Being on my own I did eat in...

We stayed at the Hotel Clarion 4/07 for 5 nights. While the hotel is not in the perfect location (very far from Prague Castle), it was close to the center square and not too far from the Charles Bridge. However, the hotel staff was very helpful. Our luggage did not arrive (as an aside, will never fly British Airways again...

Booked this Hotel through Expedia for a trip in February with my girlfriend. We got one night free so our total cost of staying 3 nights was a mere 200 Euros and for that price we really got a nice hotel. The rooms were nice big and clean and there was a big bathroom and Satelitte TV also. This Hotel...

Like the other reviewer, I booked a hotel/flight/train package through Gate1 travel agency (all the hotels in their mid level package were great). Prague is a walking city, and the Clarion is in the Old Town/Josefov districts. The closest metro stop Nam Republiky is only 5 minutes away, and through the metro you're easily connected to the Eurorail and various...

This hotel was very pleasant. For what was one of the cheapest hotels in Prague in Expedia, I was doubly impressed. Service on the front desk was good, rooms reasonably spacious and very tall... very comfortable. Facilities were good - I'm very pleased to find tea-making facilities in the room! The one down-side would be breakfast: selection was reasonable but...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
