We stayed here from 23rd to 26th September 2012. This hotel is perfectly located for seeing the sights of Prague. Prague is beautiful and the Czech people are very friendly and pleasant. We had a room at the top of the hotel. It had a small sitting room with TV, minibar, sofa, etc and was very comfortable. Our bedroom was...

Friendly staff, very clean hotel, good wi-fi...breakfast was okay - good variety but some temperatures seemed questionable... We also used the car service from the airport and back - the hotel arranged everything for me (including a car seat) and the driver was very nice. He spoke little English but tried to point out major sites for us to see...

The location of the hotel is excellent! Right in old town! However this comes with some downfalls as it can get loud in the middle of the night and there is also a lot of light shining in the rooms from the light for the Tyn Church. The ambience inside the hotel was excellent, it felt historic yet new all...

The Hotel Ventana is a well-localised venue (just a walking distance from the astronomical clock). The rooms are clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The staff have are lovely and always help even with minimal things. It is, with no doubt, a place to stay in Prague.

Great location. Gorgeous spacious room. Terrific breakfast and late afternoon iced coffee. The staff was attentive, informative, and superbly helpful. We loved staying here. Rooms were quiet yet the hotel is in the center of town near the clock tower.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
