Spent a long weekend here with my wife for a little "getaway" from the hustle and bustle back home. We wanted to experience the Christmas markets in Prague, and we decided that this hotell fit our needs. And we were not disappointed. The hotell was very nice, with a really helpful staff, clean rooms, and the breakfast was lovely. The...

The Ventana is not big; I think its got 29 rooms, but the biggest is not always the best. It is a small, intimate and very comfortable Hotel. The people that work there are very helpful, very honest (which can be so important), very patient, and very genuine. We were greeted with a warm welcome and made very comfortable. We...

This is a wonderful Hotel! In the heart of the old town, walking distance to everything. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are big and well appointed. The beds are very comfortable and the shower is awesome (really- exeptional, down to the lush towels). Breakfast is also good.

We generally had a very enjoyable stay at the Ventana. It certainly felt like a luxury boutique hotel and the service was 5* plus. The staff went the extra mile to accommodate our requests. We stayed in a deluxe room on one floor which was very large with a large bathroom. The hotel is centrally located - around 50 meters...

I stayed here with my partner over the Bank Holiday weekend and genuinely cannot find a fault in the hotel at all. The building is brimming with historical charm, located steps from the Old Town Square and within a feasible walking distance to just about all of the major sights of Prague. The interior decor retains much history, but not...

Our travel agent set us up in this hotel on our visit to Prague June 2016. We had an excellent experience here. The location is great for touring the city. You are right on the Old Town Square beside the Church of Out Lady before Tyn. We were able to walk to see all the city sites from our hotel...

If you want to stay in a nice, friendly, clean, elegant hotel in a perfect location, you don´t need to look anymore. This is it! The beds and pillows are very comfortable, the Wi-Fi is fast and stable and the friendly bartender can make you very good drinks. The breakfast is not enormous but tasteful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
