Great place to stay in Prague. Located in the old town, offers some very good views as well. Spacious room and bathroom. Excellent breakfast, they have a good in house restaurant in Fat cat. Structure is a heritage one, beautifully modified into a modern hotel, without disturbing its layout. Service and staff are excellent and helpful.

Nice hotel in the center of Old Town, just 15 minutes walk from main train station, great location within walking distance to many of Prague attractions. The check in process was easy and smooth. The staff was really nice and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, a bit noisy but if you close the window to the street side it is ok. The breakfast was various and good quality. There was no mini fridge in the room. On the ground floor of the hotel there is Fat cat restaurant and great brewery. I would definitely stay in this hotel again!

The beddig was not so clean and that made me discomfortable. There was no door between the ante-room (where was no curtain) and the main room, so at twilight I always woke up to the sunlight. The rest part of the residence was clean and great. They gave me clean towels every day. The breakfast was not so varied, but it was delicious. Personnels are kind which is a cool preference.

Firstly, the check in process was easy and smooth. The receptionist gave us an overall guide of the hotel and restaurant before showing us to our rooms. Second, the apartment was clean and very large especially for 5 adults. It felt like two large rooms connected. A kitchen was a available with two dining areas. The location of the accommodation was perfect and accessible for sightseeing and shopping. Several places to eat and drink. Morning breakfast buffet was complimentary and quite enjoyable. They served eggs, bacon, beans and sausage, assortment of bread and pastries, cereal and yogurt, fruits and veggies and to top it off the coffee and hot cocoa was perfect. For the price we paid it was worthwhile. I would definitely come back on my third visit. Downside: We had to go up two long and narrow flights of stairs to get to our room with our large luggage. I knew that before booking the hotel, but it was still unpleasant. We never cooked or brought food in our room. But there was an odor in the room every time we walked in. We had to aerate the room everyday. The noise from people walking and talking late at night can be heard. Cars and suitcases rolling over the cobblestones can be heard throughout the night. It was not unbearable, but still woke me up a few times. The noise can be heard mostly from one room only. Due to the location it is not a hotel accessible by car. Our private driver had a hard time finding the location. We had to choose a drop off and meeting point in a closer area.

Dear eunicec464, thank you for your comprehensive feedback, where you have written most of the perceptions throughout your stay in hotel Palac U Kocku. It is very nice to hear that you have been satisfied with a smoothly provided check-in, our family apartment, or with a breakfast. It is true that parking in our location of historical city centre is quite complicated. Due to the location it is also sometimes noisy. We have already found the cause of unpleasant odor in the room and it is already fixed. I would like to apologize for this complication. With best regards, Jiri, hotel manager

This hotel is in the very heart of Prague in a very good price. Our room wasn't in the road and was the only room of the floor (5) .that means that was really quite.but it wasn't very clean and wasn't very hot room..the bathroom was ok..of you are a traveller like us ,and use it only for a sleep is just ok.the breakfast was rich but not something very special or tasty.the receptionists were all very friendly !In my next visit I won't stay there surely..
