Booked this hotel through Expedia, was worried about what to expect since it not being a chain or anything and the first time I've used Expedia but it did not disappoint. It was lovely. The staff were friendly, the rooms clean and the breakfast was lovely too. The hotel allows you to go out at night, was helpful at reception,...

Hotel Sunrise is located about 20 minute walk from Old Town Square and not far from the train station by taxi (be careful with taxi prices in Prague!) The hotel is clean but the hotel lobby is not like your average hotel as it's very small. The staff at check-in had basic English but they were not rude. The room...

Just returned from a fantastic trip to Prague. The hotel was just what we wanted and for £23 a night you could definitely not complain. The site I used to book that was Amoma.com. They are definitely the cheapest. We have booked to again in July and its only gone up slightly with it being high season and will cost...

We booked the sunrise hotel for a long weekend trip over a national holiday in Germany. The hotel is well located in Praha and you can reach any attraction in town by walking or public transport. We parked the car outside town in a cheap P+R spot, which safed us 50 Euros for parking over 3 days. There are always...

Not sure what else to say. For the price it's a comfortable apartment, well sound insulated. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to the main old town, which was perfect to me to avoid excessive noise whilst still being close by. Good for IP Pavlova metro for airport connections.

Ideal location for Tram 22 and Metro IP Pavlova (Red Line) or Národní třída (Yellow Line). Stayed in a 4th Floor room that was clean and very spacious. Plenty of assorted foods for breakfast, hot and cold.

Superior room at 4th floor is very big, nice and clean, with big double comfortable bed, LCD TV, fridge, safe, bathroom with towels and all little things you will need. Elevator is big and modern. Breakfast is very, very good, cakes too! Metro and tram stations are near, but we used to walk about 15 minutes to the center. PARKING...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
