The hotel is in a good location and is very clean and is great for a base. The staff were not particularly friendly and one member of staff in particular thought it was ok to click his fingers at us rather than to even try to speak!

Dear Traveler, thank you very much for your stay in our hotel. We are really sorry about that. It must've been some misunderstanding. Not everyone in our staff speaks english on communicating level but we are sure that they behave profesionally. If something like this happend we are sure that it wasn't meant in a bad way. Hotel Roma is a gem in the Old part of Prague. Situated on the South side of the river and within walking distance of everything!! The hotel is spacious and clean and very warm, even in March we did not need heating isn't the room. Our room was large with a huge double bed and plenty of furniture, kettle and...

Very pleasant and quiet hotel, comfortable rooms and nice breakfast. Easy to reach with tram stop in front of the hotel. Also good location to explore the city on foot. Restaurants nearby. Wifi connection not always good, but there are computers in the lobby.

Excellent location, easy to get to from the airport with the tram stop right outside. Pleasantly surprised by how great the hotel was! The room was huge with a very comfy king size bed. Bathroom was also huge, with a great shower. There was a big selection for breakfast, however they only had one toaster, so there was a lot...

Just returned from a 4 night night stay here, and we found the hotel to be perfect for our trip to Prague. Close to all the main area's we wanted to visit, whilst being just outside the centre of everything to ensure a good nights sleep. Our room was very large and for the size of it , also very...

I stayed at the Hotel Roma for 11 nights in February 2017. It is in an excellent location, just a short walk to famous Charles Bridge and a short tram ride (via tram #22) to the magnificent Prague Castle. Other popular tourist attractions such as Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square are similarly easy to reach. The free breakfast was...

The hotel is well located and within walking distance to the main attractions. The room was clean and a decent size. The shower/bath worked well after a long day! Breakfast was good with a nice amount of options. The only real negative was the wifi, the signal was good but the connection speed was very slow. Overall a good option...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
