I stayed at the King George hotel for 3 nights and I am very glad I chose this place. It's very near the Old Town Square and the Charles Bridge which is really convenient. The room was clean and comfortable. I would only mention that wi-fi signal didn't reach my whole room. It was much weaker in the bedroom. There...

Wifi toimi moitteetta. Sitten miinukset: sängyt ja tyynyt olivat melko epämukavat, siivous huolimatonta ja kahvi aivan kamalaa ! Voisin yöpyä samassa...

Two sisters of mine and I spent 8 nights in this "3 stars hotel" in the suite. Well the location was amazing very close to everything but the hotel was horrible. Our room was at the last floor of the building. No lift in the hotel (there is one so arrive to 2nd floor but doesn't work). The stairs of...

We got this hotel through a traveling agency so we didn't read any reviews on the hotel on beforehand.... First of all, there is no reception. There is a room with a 'receptionist' in it if your lucky. The 'receptionist' however is very nice and speak 5 languages perfectly, very impressive. After 4pm he's off and you'll have to talk...

I chose this hotel as I was visiting Prague by myself and as it was very close to Charles Bridge and that would be signposted all over the city and I would be able to find my way back. It is a very old quirky hotel the staff were friendly and my room was large comfy and quiet Hopefully I...

Perfect food, nice staff, nice price for value. Timing could be better, but it does not cause disappointment. It's a little oazis in the downtown with covered balcony and good music and Beer. Very familiar place to be recommended.

Everything was ok. Hotel is clean but it is very old. Anyway there is a nice frair around. The best thing is that it is really very very near of the center. Karls bridge and the astron. clock you can reach within 3-5 min.

We have been recomended by our travel agency to take this hotel as it was near the old city and close to most of the city attractions. We arrived by car in the evening after a 8h drive and came upon our first surprise, no parking places. I mean, there are parking places but all with blue line meaning only...

Walking past (along Liliova) we noticed that half litres of lager were KR29 (about 79p - the cheapest we saw) so we went in to have a drink and see what food was available. My wife had chicken in mushrooms with grilled vegetables and I had breaded pork with chips. The portions were large and freshly cooked. The food, together...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
