I was very impressed with the location of this hostel. It was easy to get from the central train station via the metro. It's surrounded by traditional streets, and is only a five minute walk to the Old Town Square and Charles Bridge. It's also only a short walk (10 minutes) away from a Tesco! Perfect for getting food cheap,...

The best thing about this hostel is it is located in strategic location, 3 minutes walking to Old Town Square and 8 minutes to Charles Bridge. Dorm is not as pictured in the website. I booked for 5 bed female dormitary and turned out there are 3 double deckers bed and the toilet is outside the room. Bed for lower...

This place is offering hostel and hotel. Rooms are small but enough to accommodate small shower corner and nice view on walking zone. The only cons is noise at night, this place never sleeps, so if you looking for nice quite place to sleep you may find another one. Make sure you have light backpack, no elevator, and very narrow...

The hostel was very simple but because the price was ridiculously cheap I didn't have any big expectations. The location was really good. We stayed there outside the season and in the middle of the week and at least these days the place was really quiet and calm. The staff was also really friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was...

Stayed at Ritchie's one night in a twin ensuite room. The location is great but a bit of a pain to get to. I would recommend getting there from the Charles Bride side is much easier than coming from the Old Square. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you have big/heavy luggage as there is only stairs to get up...

Price, location, and clean - you can't do better than this! However, no a/c and on a hot summer night, you have to have the windows open. Street level is a loud, 24/7 party - and I mean noisy!!!! Need to be creative to sleep - like ipod music & earphones. Ear plugs aren't enough!!!

Rooms are clean, furniture and others things are normal, what is the best and most interesting is a position of hostel - its absolute in centre of Prague, so you can enjoy night walks and light live right into heart of the city.

Perfect location for everything! Nice and close to Charles bridge, close to the pub crawl and other nightlife attractions! Fun and clean environment with great window views! A fun place to stay, but lots of stairs if youre at the top like we were!

I've spent a couple of nights there in May and it was a very pleasant experience. I stayed in a 10-person dorm yet it was very convenient, quiet and comfortable, plus, I met some nice people from all over the world which added some value to the stay. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and the location - just perfect....

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
