The hostel has the best location, the room was big enough and very clean only problem was internet!! It didn't work in the room so, book one near reception this is where you can get connection. Oh and because it is very central it gets a bit noisy if you are a person who can not sleep in the noise...

Honestly for the price it could've been a lot better! Receptionists were okay upon arrival, weren't particularly helpful or friendly! But perhaps aren't being paid enough for the long hours they are doing! (12 hour shifts from what I could gather!) Hostel wasn't that tidy or clean. At one point during our stay they'd overbooked so there was a mattress...

I booked this hostel because of its excellent location and practical price considering it is so near Charles bridge and the Old Town. The linen provided were clean. For breakfast, you can pay for it in addition to the rent. It's an excellent place. It will be even perfect if the staff be be more friendly next time. ;)

Unclean and disappointing hostel. Ended up leaving at half 8 in the evening to find a new place for the night. There was chewing gum stuck to the beds and writing covering the bunk beds. Overall we were left extremely disappointed in this hostel and looked for our money back in order to pay for a new hostel.

For the very low price we paid I had very low expectations, however the hostel was better than I expected. The hostel is in an incredible location, just a few minutes from Charles Bridge and Old Town Square (astronomical clock). Both of which I recommend. However it did get loud at night. The lady who checked us in was very...

I stayed 2 nights during my trip in Praha. The location of this hotel is very great. Walking distance to the tourist attraction such as: Old Town Square, Astronomical Clock and Charles Bridge. The metro station is also reachable by walking. I booked a room with external private bathroom on the 3rd floor, the room that i got was clean...

I booked my room via Agoda (and paid for it in advance) When I came in, I was told at the reception that the room hasn't been paid for. I was a bit surprised but after a few minutes I decided to just pay for it again (I was tired then and I thought that maybe I haven't actually paid...

Stayed here with a friend in Summer 2015 during her interrailing trip. It was one of the first few hostels I've visited but I've now seen many more! It was clean and affordable but the facilities were very small, not much room for socialising outside of your room and the kitchen was pretty small too. Staff were friendly enough but...

I spent a weekend at Ritchie's hostel with a friend. The twin room was a great price for the location which was right in the old town. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was a lot, 25 euros for a day, and wasn't close to the hostel but I guess you get that wherever you are in Prague. Overall, good...

We stayed there last February for a weekend. The hostel was surprisingly good and at a very interesting location - you need to pass through a tourist shop in order to reach the entrance. Our twin room was clean, spacious and very quite, despite the fact that the window was looking at the main street leading to Charles bridge. It...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
