Ritchie's was an interesting experience...to actually find the entrance you have to walk through a souvenir shop/hallway (but the young man that owns the shop is super nice and really interesting, you should talk to him if you get the chance). Once inside, you travel through halls and staircases to find the check in desk. The girl at the front...

This hostel is really cheap, and the location is nice, right next to the famous Charles Bridge, but it's better to spend a bit more and stay someplace better. The room was dirty, the hallways stinked, all the hostel doors were in some way broken, the windows were in no way covered, so the sunlight came in pretty early, and...

We stayed at hotel, two bed room. Everyone here was really helpful and nice. We could leave our bags at hotel after we gave back the key so we could sightsee. It is 400m from Charles bridge. Three minutes from the city market square. Awesome people, awesome localization.

Really enjoyed this hotel. the location is perfect, very close to old town square and wenseslas square. The rooms are large, clean and tidy and the staff are helpful with things you want to know. Didn't have breakfast but for the price we paid (£8 per person per night) was very cheap and we were happy with what we got...

Best thing about the hostel was it's location. We were in walking distance to all the major sites in Prague. Their breakfast service was very filling and affordable. I found the service to be very poor however. The hostel should do better screening of the persons who they allow in the rooms with others. Also, they should ensure that they...

So first of all. Both the location and the price for a night is really a 5 out of 5. But the rest. Don't know where to start. The beds are uncomfortble, there is no lock on the door to the toilet and no door to the shower. So me and some people I met did "guard" eachother when showering....

Stayed in a double room with exclusive use of a bathroom down the hall. I've rated it based on price. I don't think you can expect more without paying more. The location was fantastic. It was only a couple of minutes walk to the Christmas market. The room was clean and warm and the bed didn't hurt my back. Soap...

The sole reason I gave this place 4 stars was because it was a good price and has a fabulous location. It's located in a great neighborhood in the heart of the city and is within walking distance to several major attractions (Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, the astronomical clock). I was able to walk to everything and only had...

We were 6 guys staying in a 5 person room. Very comfortable beds, neatly made when we arrived, towels and bed linen included. Private and spacious bedroom facing the street but there was no noise at all even at night though a very packed street was right outside. High ceiling. Extraordinarily high quality for hostel private rooms. Everything spick and...

It would be normal to be noisy if the room is besides the touristy street, but the noise from reception was unbearable. There was even a note to observe silence between 10pm to 4am but the receptionist didn't do something. The internet was almost non-existent inside the room, we had to be in the reception area. They also told us...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
