We stayed here for 10 days over Christmas 2014, and had the most fantastic time. The staff were all excellent and very helpful. Room were clean and authentic. The bar was great, fantastic food and very reasonable prices. The beer especially was rsally good, especially their own which is brewed on the premises. Beakfast was plentiful with a wide choice....

Yet another fantastic City break at this wonderful hotel. The staff are delightful and it's in a perfect location for the festive season in particular, really close to the Old Town Square. One big bonus this year was the new lift! At last! Only downside was we kept getting lost in the rabbit warrens that make up the upper floors...

Dear guest, thank you very much for your great review. Lift - that´s it. We did it last year. Our hotel is a building from 15th century, so it was really dificult to build it. But at last it is. A complimentary mug of the house brew upon checkin? Yes, please! And bottles of soda for my kids! Delightful welcome after a long road trip. The breakfast buffet was a perfect way to begin our day! Something to please all of us. The girls loved their loft room with 3 twin beds. We got two triples and it suited our...

If you want a luxury hotel belonging to a Western chain try somewhere else. But if you want a really friendly local hotel with real character and charm, this is a good choice. It has its own brewery and you get a glass of draft beer as you register - yes, there is a pump on reception. The rooms are...

My colleague and I have just spent a fun weekend in this hotel. We were first offered one of its "historical" rooms on the 3rd floor -- the lift only goes to the 2nd!! But we turned it down as one bed was a sofa bed though the room itself was amazing! We were then given a room on the...

We stayed here for 3 nights in Prague in October 2014. It was a great hotel. We were very happy. The room was clean and HUGE. We got a double because we were staying with our son, and the room could have easily slept 6 adults with room to spare. Bathroom and shower were fine. Location was PERFECT, just a...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
