We stayed at the King David Hotel for Passover 2017. It was a fantastic experience! The food was plentiful, elegant, delicious, and incredibly varied (who knew Passover cakes could be so delicious?) and the rooms were modern, beautiful, and comfortable. The seder table itself was elegant- fresh flowers, beautiful seder plate, many coursed main meal, and every last Passover detail...

The room (Deluxe double room) was spacious. It had a safe mini bar and espresso machine. The food in the lobby restaurant and dining room was...

A very well kept and clean hotel. Hotel staff all spoke good English and were very helpful. Rooms were larger than normal and bed were very comfy, with lovely quality bed linen and towels. Huge variety of food for breakfast. Disappointing that you had to pay 10 Euro per head to use the swimming pool. Hotel also contained a Synagogue....

We are just completing the last night of our four night stay at this hotel. It was perfect. The staff were all so helpful, the rooms were beautiful. We walked all over Prague from this hotel. The dining room staff were especially helpful and the strictly kosher food was delicious. There were prayers everyday in the beautiful synagogue. We are...

I just returned from a 3-night stay which included Shabbat. The hotel exceeded all of my expectations. The room was large, the bed extremely comfortable and the bathroom luxurious. Breakfast was a feast, all the food freshly prepared. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Shabbat was a pleasure. Although the evening meal was not as good as the breakfast,...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
