Location is very good, only ca. 10 minutes on foot to the old town center. Our coach could drive up to the entrance and drop us off. Lobby very narrow and seats only 6 people. But staff very efficient, though at times somewhat cold and harsh. Some were nice, others rather negative. We needed a meeting room, and first we... More

A very convenient location to most attractions, shopping, restaurants. The main railway station is just round the corner so as the metro. A word of caution , never change their currency at any nearby notable money exchange outlets or even at the hotel, they charged as high as 27% commission on your money! Please clarify before you pass them the... More

It is so close to the old town of Prague. It is practical to take full advantage of your visit to the town . Close to the national museum , to the opera, to monuments of the old town and even to some shopping centers. The hotel staff are efficient and friendly. The rooms are fine enough and have all... Good location near train station, subway and few minutes walk to Old Town. Very good and complete breakfast. Poor attention at the reception of the hotel. We have to change room because we asked a non smoking room and we were given a smoking one at first, going up and down with all our luggage

The hotel is situated on one of the main squares in the centre of Prague, close to the station, subway and tram. The rooms were spacy and quiet. The bathroom had a shower. The breakfast buffet was varied. I can recommend this hotel.

We had a room in the back of the hotel on the 5th floor. Great room, nice bathroom, frig, balcony, desk, safe everything we needed. Front desk very helpful. Location of hotel was excellent. Able to walk to train station, old town and shopping. Felt safe in this area. Breakfast was nothing special.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
