What a great hotel!!! The staff could not do enough to help even by allowing our taxi to park right outside in a pedestrian area so we didn't have to walk.We were upgraded and had brilliant rooms. Great location and on leaving, were given a voucher to save 10% on our (or friends) next vist. We would reccomend this hotel...

Stayed here for 3 nights in November.......what a little gem! We were pretty much having a cheap city break and decided rather than take a taxi to the hotel, we would get there under our own steam. The bus stop was right outside the arrivals exit......it was great having a route screen up front, allowing us to hop off at...

We visited this hotel with my husband and we stayed for 3 nights. The location is perfect: it is within a walking distance of all sights but you don't want your hotel to be too close to those people masses. Clothing shopping and restaurants are on the street when you step outside. Many food stores close and a quiet metro...

It is in a superb position for sight seeing, and yet incredibly quiet, the staff are delightful, Lucas on the door is a joy, smiling, helpful, just lovely. The hotel is beautiful fitted out, our room was...

We chose Hotel Liberty because of location and breakfast based on other travellers' comment. Both are proved great. The hotel is just next to a Metro entrance (Mustek station, street 28 rijna). Buffet breakfast is great too even it is not a big-scale buffet, it is good enough with different varieties. Other travellers said it is a bit old. I...

Stayed two nights in this hotel and it was a very pleasant experience. Rooms nice and quiet due to double windows(!), staff helpful and friendly. The location is absolutely perfect, within walking distance to every possible place you want to visit in Prague. Only (small) remark is that the bathroom floor is a bit slippery, and this also holds for...

We have spent six days in this hotel and it's definitely a good choice. It's located in a great location that we have walked to most attractions and historical landmarks except for Prague Castle and Petrin Hill. We have took tram no. 22 to these two places and the tram station is about 5 minutes walk from hotel. There are...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
