Of our 2 weeks and 6 hotels in Europe, Hotel Lunik was the best. Though you may be able to find a hotel with a better location I'm sure you will not find one with a friendlier staff. No matter what the question, they were more than willing to help us out. Also, I had a pretty bad cold during...

Having found this hotel via Tripadvisor, I spent 4 nights here with 2 friends in mid-July. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the location is excellent. It is just a 10-minute walk to the centre of Prague, but on a street which was quiet enough to enable us to have the windows open at night (necessary given the...

My wife and I visted Prgue for three days and stayed at Hotel Lunik. We found the staff very pleasnt and helpful. The hotel was clean and the breakfast substantial. All in all this is a good value for money hotel which I would recommend. Easy walking distance to the Old Town, with all tram and Metro links nearby

Before staying in Prague I researched budget hotels and found a lot are no more than hostels with breakfast. On reflection spending a little more than planned on Lunik was an excellent decision. Overall very pleased with our stay and service recieved. Good: Location just outside city centre, 2 mins walk to tram and metro station, 15mins walk to city...

We have found this hotel by coincidence. Its location is superb - 200 mtrs to the tram stop and to the tube station. It is located only 2 stops from the Railway Station and there is no need to change the line after you get in there. Quiet location, even from the street side. This rather small hotel provides excellent...

I recently visited this hotel, and I have nothing at all to complain about! The location is absolutely perfect, the area is very charming - the Namesti Miru square is adorable, the room was very clean and quite, breakfast was nice, staff was very helpful. I loved the stay! It felt very good to be able to stay in a...

Two friends and I came to Prague for a long weekend to celebrate my 50th birthday. We stayed at the Hotel Lunik for 3 nights. On checking in to the hotel the receptionist discovered that I had been allocated a room on a different floor to my friends. This was very quickly and easily rectified. The rooms were of a...

We found it quite difficult to locate a hotel in Prague with secure off street parking but Hotel Lunik has access to 2 parking spaces in a garage just across the street. With our car safely stowed for two days we set off to explore Prague city centre. There are some seedy elements to Prague but the Old Town (about...

This hotel is a little suburban but makes up for it by its quietness and access to public transport. There is no airconditioning so it could be very hot mid-summer. The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant right next door is as good as anywhere for value and quality. It is about a 20 min walk to the centre of...

Neighbourhood Profile
Vinohrady & Vrsovice
Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this neighbourhood standing on former vineyards developed very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century. Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live, and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars, cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy shops, it is a home for people from all around the world. This area blends expats, families, bohemian students and Prague’s hip community. It is a great place for breakfast in the morning, the best lunch places and a buzzing night life. After sundown, stroll down to Vršovice, the new center of the hipster, alternative and gay scenes in Prague.
