We checked into the Lunik for 5 nights, no issues or problems checking in at reception. Our room was on the 2nd floor at the front of the hotel, No frills room but had all we needed, 3* hotel don't expect the Hilton. Only a kettle and cups provided so take you own coffee/tea bags. The room was a good size, clean and tidy. The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was okay although the shower was a bit on the small side, maybe time for a refit? Our room was serviced/cleaned everyday. There are safe's in the room but you need to get a key at reception and pay a small charge (50 CZK (£1.70 ish) per night). Some reviews we read before travelling said that you could hear trams going by but I must say we did not hear them, in fact it was very quiet at night. Although the averts for the hotel say there are English speaking channels on the TV, I could only find one, that was a French news channel broadcasting in English. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices and had everything we needed. There is a small selection of hot food but as in most European countries "continental" is the normal. The hotel is about a 25/30 minute walk from the old town. There is a tram or metro but to be honest the walk was better for sightseeing. The area round the hotel seemed very safe and has many restaurants and bars serving good food. There is a farmers market everyday just round the corner from the hotel if you want to get some fresh fruit for your 5 a day. All in all a good stay at the Hotel Lunik and If we return to Prague we would definitely stay here again.

The room was comfortable but the bathroom was tiny. A kettle and cups were provided but no tea or coffee, which we thought a bit unusual. Breakfast was very good though, with excellent service. The reception staff were helpful also.

Arrived 9pm Friday night to go into my room to find it was like a sauna, way too hot even though the window was partly open. Room could definitely do with air con, it did have a desk fan but the noise was too much when trying to sleep, especially inbetween hearing the trans going past every few minutes (they run through the night). Every time I would open the windows I’d come back to find the cleaners had shut them. The hotel is at an ideal location for the tram system and the metro, less than 5 minute walk to both. There is a KFC, McDonald’s, Burger King and 2 Costa’s nearby along with other places to eat and a Tesco. Breakfast for me wasn’t great, but that all depends on what you like food wise, but you could eat as much as you wanted which was good. The room could have done with a fridge so you could put drinks in. Shower cubicle as others have said is very small and thankfully I had no problems with the water like others. The reception staff were hit and miss, some were friendly and would help others not. I would stay there again though if I returned to Prague.

Stayed here for a long weekend. Clean comfortable and easily accessible to surrounding area. Impressive breakfast with variety to choose from. Would be happy to stay again. Not the most modern building but that didn't matter as a pleasant stay

Very good hotel located 15-20 min easy walk from Prague shopping area. 30 mins from the city's old town square. Nice clean room. The only drawback is the small shower cabin. Breakfast options are very good. Easy to reach by tram and metro. 20 min walk from the train station. The surrounding area is nice and quiet, a choice of restaurants and a daily farmers market.
