I surprised my girlfriend for her 30th birthday with a four night trip over Valentine's week staying at the Art Deco Hotel Imperial. First impressions were great for this hotel with stunning deco, warm comfortable rooms and beautiful bathroom. We stayed on a fourth floor deluxe room, and even these basic rooms made us feel like royalty with their fine...

This is a beautiful hotel with a fabulous restaurant. The décor is amazing, the rooms are beautifully appointed with everything you could wish for and the staff were warm and welcoming. It is in a very good position for getting about being a 10 minute walk to the metro, trams and bus stops. It is also near a huge shopping...

From the moment we arrived I knew we were going to love this hotel. It has class written all over it. The check in was flawless, the staff courteous, the smell was beautiful.. A hint of citrus mixed with a wood polish aroma. Next stop was the room, which I can only describe as jaw dropping on entry. Yes it...

Spent 3 nights at this hotel in a double executive room. Amazing place with staff who could not do enough for you. All our questions were answered immediately and two very small issues were rectified straight away (TV required a retune and a dressing gown belt was missing). I would recommend the airport transfer service. The only negative was the...

Stayed for five nights, most things were fine but did have some small issues or would have scored a four. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable maybe to some taste but not mine. Also reported a couple of issues, underfloor heating didn't work and had to report it three days in a row before it got fixed. Also steamroom wasn't working...

Service was first class from check in to concierge. The deluxe room included free WiFi, a bathroom with a tub, TV, mini bar, room safe, robes, slippers, ... beds were...

The lobby staff are very friendly and the rooms are incredibly spacious for Europe. The hotel is within a 5 minute walk from a major shopping center and about 20 minutes from the central square. I would say the lobby is not as grand as pictures online portray since a lot of booking sites use the pictures of the delicious...

We love the ambience and decor of this hotel. The staff are always most welcoming and polite and serve up delicious hot drinks and cakes . We love to read the autographed guest photos, a real insight into the life of the hotel.

Booked this hotel based on previous reviews we read. There were 4 guys on this trip and we would have expected the hotel to give us 2 rooms with 2 single beds. Instead we had I room with 2 single rooms and another with a double bed. As the hotel was full that weekend they could not change our room...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
