Lovely hotel in a beautiful cobbled back street area of Prague. The American embassy within a short walk made this hotel feel safe. Walking distance of all major sites just a few minutes to Charles Bridge. Recommend.

Good afternoon I thing our location is one of our best advantages - safe because of US ambassy and in the very hearth of the city and close to everywhere. We´re proud that You choose Constans for your vacation in Prague - mother of all cities - and spend the pleasant time with us! Have a nice day Eliška, receptionist

Beautiful rooms and helpful front desk staff. Close to the Palace as well as to the US embassy. 5 minutes walk to Charles Bridge. Housekeeping staff very attentive and room well maintained. Room was enormous with chandeliers! and large bathroom--such a treat after small, dark facilities in many older, converted hotels.

Recently stayed at this hotel and first impressions were that the place was average it's down a side street by the American embassy so you can either feel extra safe due to the security or at risk because you are so close to the American embassy. Some of the staff were helpful some not so much. The breakfast was reasonable...

Thank You for your review. We´re sorry that street was noisy during your stay but usually it´s very quiet. I believe that location near US ambassy is advantage of Constans. Most of our guests feel very safe here. We apologize for bland omelettes and hard beds, We try to improve it. But I hope despite these things your stay in...

Tucked away in the quiet Mala Strana area of Prague, this welcoming hotel is a great place to stay. The staff are helpful, the location is peaceful but close to the castle and Charles Bridge, and the breakfast buffet good. We stayed at the beginning and end of our holiday and on both occasions our rooms were large (one was...

Just cannot fault this hotel ,service and staff are fantastic. Room was so much larger than expected and very clean. Location of the hotel was good as near to Charles bridge and castle but also a few bars and restaurants in the same area . would recommend this and defiantly cannot wait to return

As a solo traveller, I had a single room in the front of the hotel on the ground floor. It was quiet comfortable and spacious. The WIFI worked well. The buffet breakfast was excellent, though the hot breakfast was not well advertised. I found the staff helpful and friendly. The hotel is situated in a quaint old part of Prague....

I stayed in this lovely hotel early in June of 2015. It was my last few days in Prague after spending over a week in this wonderful city and wanted to spend my last ticks of the clock in the Mala Strana. My room in this hotel was huge, clean, sparsely yet tastefully decorated, and aesthetically pleasing. Breakfast was fantastic...

We have stayed on the Mala Strana a number of times but this was our first stay at the Hotel Constans. Although the hotel is in a quiet street, so no traffic noise, it is in easy reach of most of the historic sites with a tram stop not far away. One suggestion we would make would be for the...

This hotel is delightful. It is a short walk from Prague castle in the lovely area of Mala Strana. The rooms are very spacious, impeccably clean and quiet. There is an extensive buffet breakfast with cooked options on request. The staff are extremely helpful. Definitely a 'find'.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
