Our room was big, but not well-cleaned and heater was not working. Shower door was broken and no one came and followed up even we informed the receptionist. Location is good, walking distance to attractions. Breakfast was good, wide range of choices I would say for such a small hotel. Despite that the breakfast room is small and unorganised as...

I never met such an unprofessional receptionist in my life. It happened on Friday, January 13th around 14:10. He had no time to help me and on top of this he was very rude. Unbelievable. This kind of person has nothing to do behind a reception desk. I wish I could fire him immediately.

Dear Christophe V, Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry for this unpleasant experience that happened during phone call at busy check-in time while you were trying to reach the guests staying in our hotel. As you can read from our many positive reviews here on Tripadvisor, our Front Desk staff is very proffesional, friendly and ready to...

Excellent hotel to stay, we thought breakfast was very good. Our room was lovely & warm also good restaurants close by. We would love to stay again as its so close to everything. Last night we did a river boat cruise that was well worth doing. The staff appeared to be very helpful

Stayed here in late November with a pal for a weekend that, unfortunately, my wife was unable to make!! Hotel room was comfortable and cosy, bed was fine as was the bathroom. The hotel is ideally situated around half way between the Old and New towns and most sights of Prague are a short walk away. The hotels location is...

We stayed here for 3 nights in December. We booked our transfers both ways through the hotel and all went smoothly. We arrived about 10pm and were booked in very promptly. We were given a voucher for 10% discount at the restaurant very nearby which we used that night. The food was very good and the staff and service fine too....

Warm and spacious rooms with friendly, helpful staff. Good restaurants and bars close by that are more reasonably priced than closer to the castle. Could easily walk to wenseles square and up to the castle. Good breakfast. Try restaurant universal just a short walk away for a lovely meal. Tram 2 from the train station stops at mislocova just around...

Location isn't too bad. It is not in the centre of the hustle & bustle which is nice & only a 10 minute walk to the Old Town Square or Charles bridge. Although there was quite a lot of noise at night from the street. We were in room 102 which is at the front. The room was very spacious...

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in December. The staff were very friendly. Room was nice enough but no hot drink making facilities. Bathroom clean. Breakfast was continental style and was ok and was enough to get us going on the cold Prague mornings! Location was good. 15 minutes walk to old town square and 5 minutes...

The hotel is located in a quiet area and it takes about 10-min walk to old town square. Two small supermarkets are just in the same alley which is very convenient. Prague is absolutely a beautiful city to visit, but I won't stay at the hotel next time when I visit the city. The drains in bathroom were clogged, and...

I said in my last review that i would return to the Pav with my wife for the Christmas markets so we booked and did so. We arrived and were again checked in quickly and without any fuss by the young lady receptionist. She was chatty and very polite. Our room was modern nicely decorated and had a small balcony(A...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
