The hotel was excellent. We had an exceptionally large well appointed comfortable room. Our son had an adjoining room. We had booked two separate ensuites...

We have just returned from a two-week Eastern European jaunt. Our first leg was five nights at the Metamorphis and we couldn't have been happier with our stay. I agree with all of the positive reviews. We had a huge room with a very genrous bathroom. We were in one of the adjacent buildings that only had 5 or so...

Outstanding Hotel in the best possible location in Prague. Spotless, large and quiet rooms. We had two rooms there for 8 nights and it could not have been better. Booked directly with the Hotel which displays the rates on their site. They also provide an excellent breakfast which is included in the rate. We travel extensively and this is one...

As a birthday treat for my wife, I booked a room at this hotel just a few weeks ago, based on the rather favourable reviews on this site. We stayed from the 9th June to the 12th - 2008. Firstly, the correspondence from the reception was efficient and in really good english which impressed me a great deal. 6 years...

I stayed here with a tour group Nov of 2007, and I can still think about how great my stay was. The staff was "okay" but the hotel was the best. I have worked at a hotel for 12 years in the states, so my expectations were high. If I ever travel back to Prauge, I will stay here. Loved...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
