I stayed here about 11 years ago and loved it then. It was so cozy and friendly and it has the same name as my grandmother. The staff were excellent in giving directions, respecting my privacy while I slept late. The night staff was always very pleasant at the late hours that she opened the door for me. I could... More

Just returned from staying at this hotel, and was very impressed! Situated in the residential area of Vinohrady, east of the old town. Some people may be put off by the distance from all the main sites (approx 2km) but the Namesti Miru metro station is only 10 mins walk away. Get on green line A to Mustek or Staromestska,... More

Our room, #401, was so small we had trouble opening our suitcases. We slept in twin beds across the room from each other. After the first night, I had three small red dots on my arm. After three nights, I had more than 40 bites on my calves, ankles, and legs as well as my lower arms. We emailed the... More

The hotel was clean, and the service and breakfast were more than adequate. If you’re willing to stay outside the city center to save some money - yet have close access to the subway and tram - this is a a good choice. We only wish it had air conditioning, as the temp. was in the high 80’s.

I'm a mid-30's single who stayed in a double room in Hotel Anna for 3 nights. I booked through the hotel's own website and received the excellent price of €130 including breakfast. The building itself is beautiful, with high ceilings and elegant proportions. My second floor room was quite spacious, with a separate entrance hall, and wonderful tall double windows.... More

Great location---not too far from main attractions if you are willing to use the metro. Being further out from main part of tourist areas gave us a more reasonable room rate for what we had. Service great and breakfast was delicious. We had top floor room--window had great views of Prague at night. Room was very modern and comfortable.

If and when we return to Prague, we will be staying here again. Rooms were big (bigger than London, New York, etc.) and clean as was the entire hotel. Free breakfast was excellent, bread, eggs, sausage, coffee, all of it good and perfect to start the day. The staff were all very friendly. In particular, we'd like to say thank... More

I stayed at the hotel Anna for 4 nights. Found the staff to be friendly and very eager to help with any queries I had. The room was very nice,(large with a big window and was cleaned every day). Breakfast was nice not massive selection but all the food was fresh and the coffee was really good. We really enjoyed... More

Just returned stateside after 3 nights stay at Anna Hotel. It was a pleasant and clean little hotel, with good security and a decent breakfast. The location is ideal in getting away from the touristy areas and the staff was helpful. Only problem was noise from some rather boisterous young girls who came in late at night and awoke us... A wonderful little hotel in the suburbs of Prague. Very nice rooms and a great big buffet breakfast served in the conservatory. So nice to be out of the tourist areas. Metro station 2 blocks away and a lot of restaurants in the area. I would definately stay there again

Neighbourhood Profile
Vinohrady & Vrsovice
Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this neighbourhood standing on former vineyards developed very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century. Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live, and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars, cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy shops, it is a home for people from all around the world. This area blends expats, families, bohemian students and Prague’s hip community. It is a great place for breakfast in the morning, the best lunch places and a buzzing night life. After sundown, stroll down to Vršovice, the new center of the hipster, alternative and gay scenes in Prague.
