We stayed for 3 nights in January and on arrival at the hotel were welcomed by friendly and very helpful staff. The receptionist was very helpful and went out of her way to print a map of the area and recommend a local restaurant, which was excellent! The room was not particularly modern but was very clean, warm, and of a good standard...

Well...I and my girlfriend staied in Stirka hotel a few days ago, for 3 nights. The room is clean, but very small and without refrigerator, but some chocolates and snacks. The staff are very helpfull and friendly. unfortunately, the location is so bad (very bad). The neighborhood is safe, but is so far to city centre. Imagine that the city centre...

Been there with a group of friends. It is a really good small hotel. It gives a really bad first impression when you walk through the door and you got to go the basement to get to the lobby. Breakfast was great with lots to choose from. The rooms were clean and tidy. It is a bit far from the...

This hotel was a nice change from where I had stayed at in Paris just days before. I don't know that i would stay there again, as i felt it was rather far from the city. Yes, you can take the metro, but I'd like to have been a bit closer. Also, there is NO ELEVATOR, I'm sure lots of...

As there is no lift, if you're on the top, this can be a bit of a chore. Basic, and mostly clean, though a curious absence of toilet roll at times. Breakfast is good. No air con. The hotel really is is some way out of the centre. A good tip is that rather than walk up to the metro...

Hotel was clean-but very basic. Not particularly comfortable and breakfast not very appetising.Staff also miserable and unhelpful. No lift-and we,a group of more mature(but not old!)women, were on the top floor-so probably suited more to the younger traveller. Also, not too close to Prague centre. When we asked a city centre taxi driver to take us to the Hotel Stirka,he didn't know where it...

Stayed here over Christmas 2006, overall not too bad, though one of the reception staff was fairly rude and unhelpful. The room was fairly well equiped, and combined with the breakfast was fairly good value. However, there was a big problem with the smell; the room smelled odd to begin with, and during the night would begin to smell like...
