The hotel room is very spacious, clean, available there is a kettle with tea and instant coffee. The bed is very comfortable. The room is equipped with hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Breakfast offers a lot between sweet and savory, and there is the possibility to take away hot drinks; you can fill your own bottle of water for free, from the distributor. This hotel is great the position out side the city centre is quieter than the city centre but it's 500 metres from the metro direct to the town centre. The rooms are of an ample size the beds are firm but very comfortable, shower with rainforest shower and normal shower head. The room was very clean and the maid service kept it to a high standard, we were on bed and breakfast and there was a good selection of pastries hot dishes, fruit yoghurt and breads. The staff are wonderful and the service overall was excellent, I had room service on evening and it was very good, plenty and well priced. The unfortunate location of the facility in a residential area, cemetery and gas station The stay passed pleasantly and safely thanks to the well-prepared staff, who were professional, very helpful and friendly. My experience at Occidental Praha was a nightmare. Despite staying for two nights, I would never consider returning to this hotel due to a number of issues.
Firstly, there was no reliable WiFi. The hotel offered two WiFi networks, but neither provided a stable or consistent connection. The first night, I connected to "Occidental Praha," but it proved to be unreliable. The next day, I was given a password for "Occidental Conference," which the receptionist assured me was more reliable. However, the WiFi was still subpar and I was forced to purchase a data package from my UK phone provider as I had work to do.
Secondly, the lack of air conditioning was a significant issue. The hotel claimed to be environmentally friendly and did not have working A/C, but the temperature in my room was freezing cold, with the outside temperature only 4 degrees Celsius. The reception offered an electric fan heater, but I would have expected to regulate the temperature with A/C in a 4-star hotel.
Thirdly, the safe in my room was not working, which meant that I had to move twice to different rooms to keep my valuables safe. Unfortunately, the housekeeping staff did not know how to operate the safe, and the maintenance team was unavailable on-site.
Fourthly, despite the hotel advertising minibars for all rooms, they were not stocked in every room. If you arrive late at night, there is no refreshment available in your room. In addition, amenities were limited, with only one small and one large towel provided. There were no hand towels, tissues, or other amenities.
The only positive aspect of my stay was the black male receptionist who checked me in. He was very nice and professional. However, when I requested that the hotel cover the cost of my data packages, they offered a complimentary breakfast instead, which I declined. I was forced to channel my request through the website where I made my booking.
Overall, my experience at Occidental Praha was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This was a Jet2 holiday, the hotel was lovely. It was a 10 minute walk down to the nearest Metro station which was then 7 stops to the centre of Prague. There was also a bus stop outside that joined up with a tram to get you into Prague centre. Its in a very quiet suburb of Prague- which was ideal- we had heard that hotels in the city centre can be plagued with noise from stag and hen do's. The staff are all super friendly. Breakfast had an amazing choice. The room was lovely. Reception arranged a private taxi ( nice mercedes!) to take us back to the airport. ( was about £40 i think.) Would stay here again.

The breakfast was a standard hotel offering, with some meats, cheeses, breads, a bit of fruit, some 'interesting' pastries, eggs etc. It is a typical 'continental breakfast'. We were expecting something a bit 'different', but it never happened! Teas were as expected, as was the coffee (although we didn't try it as we prefer tea!). I hope this helps.
