We booked room 22 which was brilliant. 2 large adjoining bedrooms with loads of sitting space and storage and a lovely bath/shower room.It was chilly on the day we arrived and the heating was just what we needed-fully adjustable.Free WiFi a bonus.Coffee, milk and tea provided...

Both my daughter and I independently chose this hotel as it is so different from a modern hotel block. Originally owned by Argentinians but now Czech citizens it has a Spanish flavour in its decor and food. We had requested a twin bedroom but were given, we have no idea why but never queried it of course, a two bedroomed...

This quirky hotel is close to the centre of town but in a quiet side street. An excellent location. Our room was comfortable with table and chairs and a leather sofa. There were windows on two walls so it felt light and spacious. Lots of Dali prints. A shower rather than a bath. Wifi was free within the hotel but...

A very inviting place to stay with a charming inner courtyard. Good breafast with a lot of options, conveniently located near everything but on a quiet street. No ikea furniture here--the large rooms have older furniture and decor--very clean yet charming.

We went for a winter city break and the location was key to us booking here. It was perfect location wise with only a couple of minutes walk to the main areas and lots of shops and restaurants. The room was huge and comfortable but quite old fashioned, but smoking is allowed indoors here and our room did smell of...

Just back from a 5 night stay in a suite room at the Salvator Hotel, Prague. I absolutely love this hotel! The room was spacious with good TV, tea & coffee, nice bathroom and it was quiet :). The breakfast has large choice and was in the most interesting, charming restaurant... a real gem. And the gentle jazz music just...

The Hotel is very well situated, close to the city center (5 minutes walk to the old town plaza), 3 minutes from the bus station and underground station and to a huge Mall. Nicely decorated (Spaniard style) with an open patio full of plants and flowers. The rooms are huge, decorated with Dali paintings, very tidy with comfortable king size...

I am currently still in this hotel. It is extremely good. The rooms are very large and very clean. Great value and fairly close to Staromestske nam (the square where Tyn church is). There is a supermarket close by, a tourist info place, jazz club an restaurant in the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Oh an beware of...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
