We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Pod Vezi recently. The location is great next to Charles bridge, the rooms are generously sized with comfortable beds, the staff are friendly and helpful, and breakfast is very good! There is an outdoor terrace for alfresco breakfast or drinks, as well as a small rooftop terrace. The hotel restaurant is very good and there is a discount for residents. The hotel also provides free access to the tower - great views from the top. We also really enjoyed the small daily presents left in our room - chocolates, prosecco, etc. Look forward to staying again on our next visit to Praha!

We recently spent four days at the Hotel Pod Vezi. The helpfulness of the staff was in evidence even before we arrived. Our flight was delayed so we missed the airport transfer that the hotel had arranged. I had emailed them from Frankfurt to let them know of our delay and when we arrived in Prague and called the hotel they made arrangements for our pick up, which arrived in about 10 minutes after calling the hotel. From the moment we entered the hotel the staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating with suggestions for restaurants and making sure we knew which ATM near the hotel was reputable to use. The first night we decided to eat at the lovely outdoor restaurant right below the Charles Bridge Tower. The food was some of the best I have ever had anywhere as well as an excellent Moravian wine suggested by our waiter. It was so good that we ate dinner at the hotel three out of our four nights in Prague. Our suite was beautiful, large and well-appointed. We overlooked the Bridge Tower with windows on two sides. Every day we were given a special treat from the hotel. The rooftop terrace was also a nice place to relax and enjoy before dinner. The location of the hotel is also ideal located at the foot of the Charles Bridge in Mala Strana, a charming neighborhood. As I mentioned, the staff, including Jaroslav, Alesh and "George" were always friendly and helpful. I want give Radek Sibrava special thanks for his fantastic assistance with getting the results of our Covid tests that were required by our cruise ship. He helped us maneuver the Czech Covid testing company website, which would have been very difficult to do on our own and printed out the documentation we needed. Thank you Radek! The Hotel Pod Vezi is an outstanding hotel with outstanding service and recommend it highly to anyone traveling to Prague.

We can't praise this hotel enough. Wonderful staff who were so helpful, polite & courteous. Delicious buffet breakfast and the best restaurant for evening meals that we found during our stay. Our trip was delayed for two years due to the pandemic but we are so thankful the hotel saved our reservation for us. Situated right on the Charles bridge this beautiful hotel is in a perfect location for access to all the sights Prague has to offer. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Pod Vezi for two nights at the beginning of May 2022. The stay at this small, boutique hotel was entirely delightful. The hotel had arranged for our pickup at the airport. When we missed our connection in Paris, they got the pickup rescheduled without hassle. During our stay they helped with anything we needed. This is an older, historic building. Our room was immaculate, spacious and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. (Really, if you can't sleep in a hotel everything else is moot.) The hotel is right next to the Charles Bridge. It is easy to walk to many of Prague's sites and attractions in the older part of Prague and an Uber or taxi is just a short hop for more distant sites. Kampa Park, a superb restaurant situated right on the river, was a short walk away. The breakfast the hotel provided was one of the best breakfast offerings we found in an 18 day stay in Europe. The breakfast wait staff were prompt and friendly. I even learned a few helpful Czech phrases. When we first booked our stay we marveled at (and were a bit skeptical of) all of the glowing reviews. C'mon. Is any place that great? In the case of Pod Vezi... Yes.

I am so thankful I stayed at this hotel during my stay in Prague! I would not only stay there again but I would encourage family and friends to do the same. The hotel rooms were large, extremely comfortable, and lovely (I stayed in the sister property close to the main building). Additionally, the location could not be better. What pushed it over the top for me and the reason I decided to write a review was because of the amazing kindness of the hotel team. I had a personal challenge during the end of my stay in Europe and unexpectedly needed to stay a few extra days. The team could not have been more helpful. They worked with me to extend my stay, they were even going to try to get me into another hotel when they were full, they brought me breakfast, and supported me in other ways. I am so grateful I was with them until I left and returned to the U.S. I highly recommend this hotel.

We loved our stay here! The location is outstanding- directly in front of the Charles bridge towers on the Mala Strana side. This makes it centrally located to the old town square across the bridge, the palace complex and monasteries up the hill, and a number of beautiful gardens just down the road. It’s a plenty busy pedestrian area, but not as crazy as the town square. The rooftop terrace view is amazing, and it’s surprisingly peaceful up there. The restaurant is excellent, for dinner and breakfast. Our room was in the annex building, which is maybe 100ft down the side street, which for us meant it was just a little quieter, which was great. Our room was quite spacious by European standards, and nicely appointed. And the best part of it all was the staff- we had excellent service both from the front desk and in the restaurant. Pod Vezi was a big part of our newfound love of Prague, we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed our stay in Prague. The Hotel Pod Vesi is a beautiful boutique hotel. The staff is amazing. Very helpful and give great recommendations for restaurants etc. The rooms were very elegant. I would like to thank several staff members: Radek, Julian, Ales, Jarda, and Jan. The restaurant is really good. We had one of our favorite dinners here.

After a 2 year COVID delay we finally made it to Hotel Pod Vezi and it was really worth the wait. What a fantastic location at the foot of the Charles Bridge and a few minutes walk from all the sights. The historical building has been beautifully looked after to really put you in the mood for where you are. Our suite was amazing and all the rooms we saw looked very clean, well equipped and inviting. We had a fantastic evening meal in the restaurant - highly recommended. A final mention for the staff. From the moment Honza welcomed us until our departure the staff were excellent, there when you needed them and always willing to help. When we return to Prague I won't be looking anywhere else for a room.

The hotel is located almost directly next to the Charles Bridge Tower and you can easily drive up to the hotel door by car. There is also a public parking option for which you have to pay extra, however it enables you to park in the direct city zone for the payed time period. The parking space is not guaranteed but there is always a spot within the walking distance from the hotel and a very friendly staff memebrs have their own tips and tricks for that purpose. The romms are really fresh, clean and nicely furnished. You can really see how the hotel takes care of the detailes and makes everything to be on spot. The breakfasts are served in the restaurant and are really delicious. Everything is fresh, tasty and well prepared. There's nothing to complain at all. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Here I have to mention Jaroslav, who was super great and made our stay even more perfect. When making a reservation try to call the hotel directly as we by coincidance got a better price than offered by booking.com. We wanted to confirm if the parking would be possible before making the final reservation and eventually made a direct booking via phone with better price. And that was a great way to deal with the client.

Just returned from our stay at Hotel Pod Vezi. We were scheduled to stay 7 nights that unfortunately for us turned into 16 nights with my husband testing positive for Covid and then myself. The staff and owner could not be more helpful and caring during our exended stay. We have nothing but great reviews to offer this hotel. From location, the breakfast, the rooms and the staff, they truly are the best!!
