AVOID THIS HOTEL!!!! TERIBBLE AND DISQUSTING! Stuff doesn’t speak English at all....small 19th century rooms, dirty and smelling. Take a look into my photos... The Travel Operator sold us 3 star hotel with another name and in last moment when we came in Prague they informed us that they have changed our hotel!!!!! Undeliverable! Instead of clean, warm, 3 star...

Sometimes I had problems with communication with staff cuz not everybody spoke English. Room had a small window with a view of some wall only. Furniture is very old, blanket was so used that I counted 7 holes on it, and pillow looked like a blanked folded several times. Breakfast is organised in dark canteen, sometimes there were no hot...

I was in this hotel on May 2008. There were 4 of us in the room and it was terrible because the room was for max 3 persons. Breakfast was very poor. Few of people who doesnt eat pork were in very dificult situation and beside that we had feeling that boiled eggs were frozen and very old. Only milk...

I stayed at this hotel on 18 & 19 Feb 2008. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the hotel is a long way from the centre of Prague and it is in a lonely and isolated location. There are no restaurants nearby and the hotel does not have an evening meal restaurant. The rooms were clean, but with minimal...

Although this hotel is a little way from the main city centre, it is only six stops away on the No. 11 tram which was a three minute walk from the hotel. The reception staff was extremely helpful with maps, tram tickets, stamps for postcards and general directions. As there were no cafes nearby and we were footsore at the...

I read a review of the Marit hotel on this site before I went to Prague. The previous reviews were mixed - so I expected it can't be that bad. In fact it can. Although the hotel is in a quiet area the rooms are nowhere near to being quiet. Walls are so thin that you can hear your neighbors...

We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness, and atmosphere of this hotel for the price. The clerks at the desk were very helpful, and the included breakfast had a nice variety of meats, cheeses, fruits, cereal, cake, and two kinds of bread, with a custom order of eggs and bacon if desired. It is not too far from the main...

We were transfered to this hotel on our arrival in Prague. It is in a quiet residential area but is a minute walk away from the No. 11 tram which runs every 10 or so minutes into the town centre. They run late into the night and are a convenient way of getting around. The hotel itself if warm and...

We stayed three nights at the Marit before Christmas 2004. The beds were hard and the bathroom may have been a little small, but everything else was great. The room was clean and warm (greatly appreciated at that time of year) and the breakfast was good. It's only a short walk to the tram stop through an area that feels...
