This beautiful hotel is situated 2 minutes walk from the Charles Bridge on a quiet road. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and the rooms are not only beautiful, but kept clean. Breakfast is buffet, including a warm breakfast and cereal, fruit, cold meat and cheese. Rooms are a mixture of sizes and layouts, but are a good size....

Very impressed with this hotel. Thought it was very good value at the rate we got it though I should mention that was a special offer for 3+ nights (we staid 6) that worked out about £65 per night. Good location, good breakfast, lovely room and very nice staff.

The location of the hotel is really great (1min walking distance from the Karls Bridge) but not in the crowd. Big room big with good service. Breakfast just in the standards. Perfect solution if you want to spend one week end in Prague.

We stayed for 4nights in the charles hotel. The reviews were rather mixed because of double bookings and some visitors are moved to other hotels. We decide to take a chance and book the hotel as it looks really pretty in the picture. We emailed the charles hotel management to ensure our room is reserved and not double booked. So...

Small hotel (31 rooms) in an ancient building, very centrally located - close to Charles bridge. My room was ok, simple, clean, but the bathroom too small, with no space to put my things on. Pillows are too flat. Breakfast is served in the basement, in the Thai restaurant connected to the hotel. There is quite a good choice of...

Fantastic spot from which to explore the city. Right in the quiet end of Charles Bridge in a romantic spot. Breakfast is rubbish but you won't be up in time anyway! Big comfortable rooms with real character and excellent en-suite.

Very nice place - loved the interior and location. unlike the network hotels the Charles has its own face and features like atique furniture and ancient ceilings. the location is perfect - 2 mins from Karluv most and other attractions. On the downside the area becomes a bit noisy in ther evening. Also the staff unexpectedly failed to call for...

Had booked this place online, only to find out when we arrived that there was an "issue." Because of said "issue" (which was some excuse to say they overbooked) they tried to ship us across the city...luckly we found another place close by so we could be in the centre and not the managers 'other sister' hotel. Keep in mind...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
