stayed here many years ago and it was the first place i looked at booking this time around. look, as the title suggests, there's very little wrong with this hotel; the only thing that lets it down is the staff. don't get me wrong, there's nothing awful about them, it's just that none of the ones we encountered were particularly... Very nice hotel right on Old Town Square. Our room was large as was the bathroom. There was even an entryway area to store luggage with a coat and shoe rack. Breakfast each morning was great. Had eggs, meats, pastries, fruit, cereal, etc. -- everything we needed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Even let us store our luggage there... More

What a fabulous location! We could see the happenings on the Old Town Square from our room, which was spacious and comfortable. The shower head was not very secure and dropped down a couple of times, but otherwise all was good. The free breakfast was good with a nice selection, particularly the cold meats and pastries. We would return.

Cute boutique hotel right on the edge of Old Town Square. Both Lucas and Karolina were very helpful in arranging for pickup on arrival (HIGHLY recommended to avoid taxi price ripoff). Also Lucas provided fast service getting me ice when I slammed my finger in the door. Our window overlooked the square but the room was very quiet when it... More

Located in the centre square of the Old City - you cannot ask for a better location. This hotel has all the old world charm packaged with all the new world conveniences. Popped in for din dins. Nice food, nothing spectacular. Staff excellent and very friendly. Helped us out in several ways. I had the beef sirloin with obligatory cabbage! Wobbly table sorted with a cork. Several loud Germans there, but otherwise all good.

Hotel located in the center of town in a square just a short walk from the Powder Tower. Large rooms, nice bed with on site restaurant and complimentary breakfast. The hotel provides a low cost set price transportation to and from the airport or train station. Great value for budget minded travelers.

If you choose this hotel, you will definately have a wonderfull morning! 3 windows in the room and one more in the bathroom with view at Old Town Square. Wow!!! Take a shower or glass of beer/tea/coffee (which is included in the price) and enjoy. In the morning my room was in the sunshine and I saw the empty square... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
