The reviews are pretty much spot on for this one. Very good boutique hotel in an excellent situation. The guys at the front desk are very helpful and all the staff very welcoming. Clean and comfortable. It's a boutique hotel so don't expect it to be like a big international chain. On the other hand, the personal touch makes a...

Stayed here for a couple of nights and loved it. We couldn't fault the hotel, everything was just right, clean, comfortable and the staff are so nice. The location is great. If we ever make it back to Prague, this is where we'll be staying. Can't recommend it highly enough, you won't find anything better.

We stayed for 4 nights. Customer service was excellent and staff were very helpful, and the rooms cleaned to a high standard. Breakfast has a good selection and is restocked regularly. The location is ideal and central to everything which was great, particularly as we like walking alot. The only downside about the hotel is that noise carries from the...

There is really nothing negative to say about this hotel. Great location a minute away from Charles Bridge and all the bars and restaurants in the lesser town. Beautifully renovated, the perfect blend or history and modern amenities. We had T4 room made up for 4 people, simply stunning and even a prayer room if we were feeling repentant!! Coffee...

I have never written a review for anything before, but my experience at Bishop's House was too amazing not to comment on. The staff was simply incredible, providing copious recommendations for amazing restaurants and other things to check out all over the city. I've never encountered employees with such a positive attitude before, and the result was infectious. The hotel...

I looked on TripAdvisor to find a nice hotel for a short stay in Prague, and found Bishop's House. The choice was perfect, maybe one of my best choices I have made for my European travel adventures. Marek and Jinka were beyond helpful, I consider them distant family now, and this is home when I am away from home. This...

It was my second stay at this hotel and it was great! Modern and minimalist design with a cozy feeling. Room was clean and spacious, could not ask for a better location (central but tucked away from the noise), good selection for breakfast and attentive staff all around the hotel, especially the front desk. Marek was extremely helpful and had...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
