Completely agree with the other 5 star ratings: Lovely hotel with personalized, friendly service and is convenient to everything. We had a very spacious room/suite with a huge bathroom with soaking tub; living room, BR with double and single bed, A/C. Very quiet (we faced the courtyard). If you happen to have a car, another big plus is the secure...

Our first time in Prague. We stayed here for 4 nights and Unitas was just what we were looking for. Unitas Hotel had a comfortable spotless room; slept well on large bed. Breakfast was wholesome, generous and varied. (We are vegetarians and had plenty to choose from.) We are walkers and enjoyed the 15 min. walk to most sights. The...

Hey, just spent 4 nights at the Hotel Unitas with my honey. Don't have anything negative to say about our stay; nice size room and bathroom, everything new, very clean, service very good and breakfast comprehensive and delicious. The Hotel is located in a quiet area, but minutes from the old and the new city, and a wealth of good...

The Unitas Hotel was recommended by a friend and backed up by the trip advisor comments, so was an easy choice for us to stay there! The location could not be better, a very short walk to the old town square, the river, tram, and the tourist areas. We were upgraded to a suite which was really nice, it had...

My husband and I just spend 5 nights at the hotel. We were very pleased. Lovely accomodations, professional staff, great location, very nice breakfast. Loved staying at a quiet retreat yet within short walking distance of many restaurants, bars and sights.

After a long drive to Prague to be greeted by the amazing staff at Unitas was really a breath of fresh air. A welcome glass of complimentary fizz set our 3 night stay off to a perfect start and then an upgrade to a suite really made it. Room was fantastic, light, open spotlessly clean and quiet. The Unitas is...

We stayed 3 nights on our visit to Prague. The location is very good close to all the sites but in a quiet location. The room was clean and very well appointed. The staff was helpful and very professional. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel has history, a convent and headquarter of the secret police, we visited the cell where...

The breakfast is fabulous. The room was clean and comfortable. The location being very close to the Old Town was perfect. In fact it was close to just about everything. But not too close. The staff was courteous. Understanding this is a boutique hotel and its charm comes from being small, staff is helpful but limited. When asked about a...

Our title says it all. Friendly, helpful staff, clean, spacious room with good air conditioning - needed during the week we were there. Quiet but central location, good breakfasts and excellent value.

We stayed four nights at this lovely hotel and were delighted with everything. It is a former convent and even prison and the history of that is posted in news articles in the hallway leading to the excellent breakfast buffet, which is included in the price. The hotel is close to Narodnyi Street, which has many trams and buses. Our...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
