Ok, we weren't thrilled with the rooms. But that's probably just us. The beds were rather hard. The pillows and linens however were fantastic. We found our weekend stay in the black house really loud. Like there must have been a bar near by and during our 3 night stay many of really loud parties were moved outside by the...

From the pick up at the airport by a private car, to the most friendly front desk & breakfast room staff, to the fantastic breakfast, to the comfy room with all the extras thrown in-this hotel is really-simply the best!! Everyone speaks fantastic English here (all of Prague really). I stayed in the Deluxe King in the Red building overlooking...

This hotel is a gem. It is located in the middle of the Old City, but away from the hustle and bustle. It is modern, but with a definite charm that makes you feel very much at home. There are lots of touches that show thoughtfulness, from their "Honesty Bar" with free coffee/tea and pastry all day, to their offer...

We loved this hotel. It's location is absolutely fantastic, just a short walk to all the main sites in beautiful Prague. The rooms are modern, clean and airy, and the breakfast selection is excellent for both variety and quality. The staff are friendly and very helpful, especially Tomas, who went out of his way to make our weekend extra special.

We stayed here for 3 days. The hotel is fantastic. The rooms are pretty much standard. Clean, nice, perfect for a brief stay. What makes the difference is the small touches. The staff are so helpful, the small touches in the room, DVD's for to use, thoughtful things like a international adapter if you forget yours. The breakfast is excellent,...

I reserved and prepaid for two superior rooms for two nights each over a month in advance. Upon arrival at the hotel I was told the rooms were not available and that we could have two deluxe (smaller) rooms instead. What choice did we have? We each received a small bottle of wine for the inconvenience, but no refund of...

Can highly recommend this hotel - lovely location, great sized and peaceful bedroom, plenty of choice for breakfast. Whether staying in Prague for business or leisure that this would be a great hotel to stay in. Also free wifi in the bedrooms - why can't more hotels offer this?

We spent nine nights at the Maximilian and enjoyed every moment. Our room was quiet and very comfortable, whilst the breakfasts could not have been better. Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
