hotel is within steps of Republic Square and walking distance from many locations.. the area is nice and safe. The hotel staff was accommodating, though a smile can go long ways! for those with access to the Elite members area, the food options are decent.

This Hotel is excellent at all levels. Very clean, comfortable and location could not be better. Executive lounge is one of the best for Marriott. Price is reasonable. Use the hotel cars when available to move you around town when needed.

We stayed in The Prague Marriott over Christmas, it was decorated very classy and the hotel itself is quite elegant. The room was simple, but nice and clean. The service was great - very friendly and helpful. As platinum elite members with Marriott, we especially enjoyed the perks at this location. The executive lounge was fully stocked, with delicious breakfast,...

Prague Marriott Hotel is a classic 5* city hotel with professional high class service, spacious, clean and well organized rooms located in a very convenient place of the city center. However, the wifi is extremely expensive with no flexible pricing schemes. Moreover, inside the room there were only the absolutely necessary amenities and we had to ask even for slippers...

I think it must be really difficult for a Marriott Hotel to go wrong... This reputation is what the Brand has been built on. The Prague Marriott lives up to the same standard. I called in advance for an early check-in and with the right expectation setting, I was allotted a room after waiting for about 20 minutes. The lobby...

Nothing surprising about this Marriott save for a good apple cake at the executive lounge. Decent stakes at the hotel restaurant , nice shop within the hotel of crystal. Poor girl works all day long. Good location though... Whatever you do , under no circumstances do not follow the advice of the desk receptionist to go to the adjacent hairdresser....

Good Marriott with excellent service. We were upgraded to a club level room and really appreciated the breakfast in the club each morning with cereal, fruit, and eggs. The room was a very good size, clean, and nicely equipped. Easy walking distance for all of the sites in Prague, including Old Town, the Castle, and the Jewish District. Not right...

Eight adults and nine children in our group. Very friendly staff. Nice rooms. Breakfast was good. Music in lobby. Rooms don't have much of a view but the location is within walking distance from all of the sites. Marriott's are so consistent in their staff and cleanliness. The central Prague property has enough international feeling to it but makes us...

If you're a Marriott Rewards member, this is a no-brainer. The price was nice when I came...for the room that is. Even as a lowly silver member, I had to pay a LOT for in-room wifi. And the Xmas buffet, while nice and tasty, was severely overpriced. Beyond that, service was friendly, room was clean and quiet and location was...

Chose this hotel purely for the gym, was not let down as it is amazing. My main gripe is purely aimed at the WiFi, it is not free in your room which is ridiculous, you even have to pay daily for BASIC WiFi. TV has a 24 special offer, not for the duration of your stay like a lot of...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
