Pretty good location with Christmas markets below and all the way to old town square. The town is so vibrant that in the middle of nights , we can still see tourists walking around and young teenagers in groups around the streets. A bit noisy though, as I was waken by noises from neighbors and streets filled with teenagers shouting....

The jalta is well located, close to Muzeum on Wenceslas Square. It sells itself as a cool boutique hotel, however the reality is that it is It is a comfortable and functional hotel. Room:-Our room was tiny, smaller than a holiday inn express, at the rear of the hotel, the fans were noisy and there was a constant smell of...

Beautiful place to stay, awesome staff, superb location within 7 minutes from the train station, right where it all happens next to clubs, restaurants, shows.. You name it. The breakfast buffet is outstanding. Rooms with a balcony over the main street can be a little noisy at times but the view is worth it. 10/10 in my opinion..

A great bar and a wide ranging breakfast menu make this a great place to stay. Right on Wenceslas Square this hotel still manages to provide a quiet and...

Very good hotel - excellent room (on the 7th floor), looking out over Wencelas Square, easy (and friendly) check-in process, very good breakfasts in the adjoining Como restaurant. We didn't have an opportunity to investigate the famed cellar! Excellent location.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
