Lovely hotel with beautiful old charm but modern features. We had great service from start to finish, couldn't fault it. The hotel is located in a great spot just minutes from all the best restaurants, bars and shops. We spent a bit more than our budget allowed but we're glad we did because it was a great two nights.

This hotel was fantastic. I shared a twin room with my friend. The room was spacious and clean, each bed was queen sized so nice and big. We had breakfast which was amazing - plenty of tables even though it was busy and so much choice of really nice food. We made use of the pool, whirlpool and sauna and...

I stayed at this hotel for a vacation with my wife. It is a modern upscale business hotel with all the comforts. The front desk staff was friendly, helpful and gave us a room with a great view of the river. The room was a decent size, but by no means huge. It had a king bed, desk, TV, and...

Besides Soviet era look and the hotel being bit impersonal, there is nothing wrong with this place. The rooms are nice and tidy and breakfast (if included) is very good as well. However, Prague is full of good value hotels and you can get something more exciting with the same money, instead of staying in box standard IHG place.

My wife and I stayed during a long weekend break. Hotel was clean. Rooms reasonably sized for a city centre hotel. Staff were helpful enough without going out of their way to be overly friendly. Love the Agraria toiletries. Not sure it is quite 5 star though. Location wise was not brilliant. Would probably try one of the other hotels...

Dont let the harsh facade of the hotel fool you...it is relaxing and comfortable on the inside. The rooms are spacious and the river view was a lovely bonus. After spending two weeks travelling by train through Italy and Austria, staying at lovely privately run, small hotels where space is limited, it was wonderful to be booked into this hotel. It's spacious, has terrific staff, extremely friendly and efficient which I think is a reflection on management who value their staff. Thank you Avalon Tours for choosing this hotel....

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
