This place could write the bible on how to treat a customer! I stayed at the hotel just for a night first week in feb07. My partner had originally beem staying at the intercontinental closer to the town square and I was a little miffed that we couldnt just stayed there. However my partner had read the other rave reviews...

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and all I can say is that it was certainly the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The place and the staff were absolutely amazing. From the moment we got there - when we were given a tour of the hotel - to the moment we left, the service was second-to-none....

This is a first-rate hotel. Absolutely. The staff are attentive and eager to please. The rooms are luxurious. The breakfasts are varied and delicious. Be aware that the hotel is a little way out of town. It's not a long walk, but it is a walk (about 20 to 30 minutes, depending on your pace). The only problem we had...

i booked this hotel through hotels.com for a 2 day stay for me and my company as a christmas dinner treat. I often stay in 5 star hotels but this one stood out immediately because of their attention to detail in their service. I brought my 6 year old daughter with me on this trip and was surprised to see...

Seven of us from the UK stayed at this lovely hotel for 3 days over New Year's Eve weekend. We had a great time nothing is too much trouble for the staff, the rooms are lovely, and the New Year's Eve celebrations were first class. I would certainly stay at this hotel again and would highly recommend it for New...

We stayed in the Le Palais for 2 days the week before Christmas. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left the service was outstanding. The service and quality of food in the restaurant together with room service was also excellent. The room was beautiful, spotlessly clean and a hand written note from the manager wishing us a...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Le Palais for 5 days around New Year's eve. We have the most wonderful experience and will not hesitate a second in coming back. The Front Desk Manager welcome us the first night and toured us through the hotel like we were the only people staying there. He offered us a welcome drink in...

We spent three very restful nights here between Christmas and New year. We loved every minute and plan to go back. Understated luxury and brilliant service. A really well managed hotel and a beautiful building.

Choose this hotel due to it's high rating on Tripadvisor. Was impressed with the building and service. Location however, was slightly out of town for my liking but not sure if I wanted to be in the middle of the crowded streets. Spent New Year here and the streets were so full with people that you felt unsafe (particularly as...

What a lovely hotel! It is a little out of town but that's why we chose it, very peaceful away from the hustle and bustle, but still close enough to walk into town. A driver collected us at the airport and as we were about 3 hours early for check in were given free drinks, brochures etc. in the lounge...
