Waiter responsible for the terrace was arrogant . His behavior was unacceptable. Due to corona streets were empty, but his rudeness to the very little potentional clients was uncceptable and discriminating. Hotel manager should teach waiters of proprer social skills. If you ever visit Vaclavak Square, avoid this Adria open terrace, they rip you of money and do not serve the best food anyway. The only advantage they have is location of the terrace, except of that it is a place I would never visit.

We stayed here as part of a group just before Christmas 2019. Check in was quite quick considering the size of the group. We found it easier to take our own suitcases to the room as our guide recommended we keep our eye on them at all time. This is not a reflection of the honesty of the hotel but rather of the necessity of making sure one keeps ones belongings on footpaths etc. our room was at the back of the hotel and looked out over some gardens to the hills beyond which made for a very pleasant and quiet outlook. Our room which had a king sized bed was very clean and had a separate shower and toilet.Breakfast on the first floor was plentiful and perfectly adequate for our short stay. The hotel was very convenient. Straight out the front of the hotel was the Christmas market on Wenceslas Square. Down the street and through the archway was the winding street that led to the old town. Out the front door and hard left on the next street was the wide shopping street. Whilst this hotel may lack the ambience of small hotels in old buildings with vaulted ceilings it was very comfortable and catered well for a large group.

Billed as a 4-star more like a 2 star. Bedrooms were very small and bathrooms smaller yet with a tiny triangular shower, (no tub). Shower door poorly designed so leaks out onto bath floor. Minimal water pressure. 1 scratchy coarse bath towel, 1 bath mat, and no hand towel or wash cloth. Antique radiator for heat, poor lighting, and very limited on luggage room. Beds are small but ok comfort. Breakfast buffet was minimal and not that good. Restaurant(s) on site include a privately owned fine dining in the basement and a street level cafe with limited menus. Good walking location however it’s also located on Velvet Revolution Square so any protests will likely be out front.
