Spacious rooms, extra-spacious kitchen (really clean!) friendly staff and amazing location! You can reach everything on foot! There is even a vegetarian restaurant few moments from the hostel! Great value for money choice!

It was in a great location and had a lot of space! We cooked breakfast every morning because there was not a free breakfast option and everything was really easy to work and find. The wifi was spotty, but overall had a good time!

Very handily located in the middle of the old town. Veronica, who greeted me at check in was friendly and had good banter. She provided maps and instructions for travel. The 10-bed dorm I stayed in was extremely spacious and contained single beds, rather than the usual bunk beds, which was most welcome. The bathrooms were clean and displayed amusing...

I have been there in August 2014, still having awesome memories. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, comfortable rooms, homely atmosphere. Definitely I'll going back one day. Also placed in the very centre.

Positive: Great location (a block from Old Town square), big rooms, nice & clean bathrooms with quick hot water & good shower head, modern kitchens for each section of rooms (sometimes a private kitchen for a room) Negative: Cash only, very poor WiFi (We found one good spot in our kitchen area, but very weak and inconsistent throughout), sheets do...

Very centrally located and walking distance to everywhere that we wanted to go. Cheap, clean, comfortable and spacious private room for 3 of us. Good modern kitchen, fast wifi and friendly staff. Highly recommended. The only inconvenience is have to wear a wristband to indicate that we are staying there which is a bit troublesome.

An amazing hostel in a great characteristic building in the old city centre with lots of activities and sight around. Had a wonderful room with high ceilings, the first night I had the fortune that I was the only one in the room, beautiful. Great staff as well.

You don't go to city centre hostels expecting daily bed turn downs and luxury accommodation but hostel homer exceeded my expectations at every turn. The single beds in our 5 bed dorm were very comfy and I slept well every night. The communal spaces were big, modern kitchen facilities. If I had to find a fault it was for lack...

I stayed for a week in the female dorm room, which had it's own kitchen. The refrigerator wasn't working properly, so we stored everything in the freezer. The room overlooked a restaurant, so it was a bit noisy in the evening, I loved the bathroom. There was a huge shower and a large ledge to put your gear. The room...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
