It was our first time visiting Prague so we wanted to make it memorable and having your hotel on a boat is just that. It is in a very good location, within walking distance to everything. We didn't need to use any public transport to get around Prague. The hotel staff are welcoming and helpful. The rooms are what you...

The hotel/boat is very centraly located and in the same time a very quiet place. Very friendly and service oriented staff. God breakfast and comfortable room, despite their size. Ask for a room facing the water

We had a twin room which was small ish as you expect on a boat, but perfectly comfortable for tourists. Lovely shower and bathroom. Wifi only in public areas, which are gorgeous and comfortable. Delicious breakfast with plenty to choose from. Reception staff are lovely and helpful, but the waiter in the restaurant was quite rude. We never saw him...

Remember it's a boat so spaces are usually smaller and have dual usage. The housekeeping and service was very good. Most everyone spoke english well. The location was excellent between old and lesser old towns. It was a unique experience. I would have spent more time on the upper deck but it was a bit chilly in November. The views...

This boat hotel is refurbished from pleasure boat used on river crusing. As expected rooms are quite small but minimum requirements are satisfied. Goodthing was view from the room. You can see Praque castle if your rooms are on river side. Shower room is rather small but there was enough water pressure. Bud thing was that internet was only connectable...

The hotel was really nice for the money we paid. Location out of town but transport to city centre ran every 10 min so was not a problem. Have to say Breadfast was not good but at lease it meant I could have a sleep in as we did not got to breakfase on the second monring. I would definatly...

Stayed 3 nights at the Florentina in mid August 2013 in the superior twin room. Although the room was small it was very clean & great value for money, let's face it you're on holiday so you don't really require lavish accommodation because you spend most of the day sightseeing all you need is clean comfortable beds to recharge your...

This is a great idea for a hotel except when they give you a room looking at a stone wall with graffiti. We paid extra for what I thought was upper deck with a view. Turns out it was just upper deck looking at rock. The woman who was pleasant when we checked in suddenly turned sassy when I asked...

Went for a two nights stay with the family/boyfriend. To wake up to the scenic view of the river was the most amazing. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast included in the stay was great. The location is perfect, at the river and only a small 10 minute walk from the centre of town and the famous clock...

We love this hotel so much, imagine you wake up and look out of the window, you will see river, castles, some swans swimming nearby. It's peaceful! The room is small but clean and well equipped facilities. Location is close to everything. Staff was helpful and super friendly. Wifi is just available in lobby. Just only room with 2 single...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
