Firstly the location is really good on a very quiet street, but less than 10 minutes walk to Old Town square and another 5 to Charles Bridge, so easy walking distance to anywhere in the city centre and to tram links to go further afield. The hotel is very pleasant, modern and quiet, the staff are helpful and friendly and a...

We stayed in this hotel for 3 days in September. It is situated in 5 minutes walking from the city center, all popular restaurants and shops. Rooms are very nice, in modern style, with international TV channels and good minibar. The breakfast is not bad, with pancakes and boiled eggs. I'm especially grateful to all hotel staff, they are very...

We arrived at the hotel and the receptionists gave us a warm welcome, informed about all needed during our stay and helped with questions about tourism in Prague. Nice breakfast and service in general. Very kind staff. High speed Wi-Fi (I was on the 7th floor and normally top floors do not get a very good connection). Very centrally located...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
