I stayed a lot of hostels in Europe. But Mosaic house is totally different with others. 1. Ground floor is become a party place like a club or music bar every night. 2. Every facilities were so modern and comfort. And I could check in even if it was early in the morning. 3. Very nice breakfast! 4. Very kind...

We stayed here just before Christmas for 4 nights. 2 of those nights a party was downstairs with deafening music singing and dancing.. we complained through the night and they moved our room at 2.30am. In their eyes this was acceptable and we could not get a refund or discount.. It was an awful stay that ruined our holiday!

Me and a couple of friends were staying at Mosaic House during a weekend trip over New Year's. The location of the hostel is close to perfect. Near by the Charle's Bridge there aren't any long distances to pubs, clubs and good restaurants. The rooms are clean, modern and provide a cozy atmosphere. The same is true of the bathroom...

I didn't put 5 stars, because I believe there is always room for improvement, but it's definitely one of the best hostel I have stayed in. The common areas are very clean and comfy with a nice athmosphere.

I had a comfortable two-night stay despite a slightly more crowded eight-bed room. Found the rain shower to be the highlight of the room. The common areas are kept really clean and the bar had affordable drinks. I just had a slight problem with the ladders on the bunk bed- it only had one vertical beam so it was a...

Firstly the good. This hotel is perfectly located close to cute restaurants and pubs. Central if you want to explore Prague on foot. The rooms are clean and a nice size for a short break. The staff are friendly enough and the outdoor familiar decor of mushrooms makes the appearance unique and sweet. However there were a few things I...

My friend and I stayed at Mosaic House during a Europe backpacking interrail trip. As we were travelling, we had to to and keep costs to a bare minimum. We booked Mosaic House because we thought it looked brilliant value for money... And we were not wrong; we even thought we had got the wrong hotel when we arrived! The...

I stayed here two nights. It was pretty noisy on the first night but the second wasn't so bad. They had an excellent breakfast. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I was super impressed with the bathroom. I also really liked that it was an environmentally friendly place. Heating in the room was far too hot (wasn't fixed while I...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
