This hotel did not live up to the reviews on its site. Definitely not a 4* hotel. We are both in our seventies yet no offer to help with luggage. We believed that there was a lift but the room was in the old block and we had to carry heavy cases up 23 stairs to reach our room. The...

Looks like my thoughts are mostly inline with other reviews I read. The key points, in my opinion, are that the location is great (that does not include the window view in my case), the WiFi was nonexistent in my room and somewhat frustrating since I was counting on it to make further travel plans. The breakfast room was very...

Had a triple room for 3 night stay - room was large, clean and with good air con (much needed in the summer!). Lots of storage and good wifi connection. This hotel is in a brilliant location; it's in a lovely cobbled street right in the Old Town, walking to Charles Bridge took around 3-4 mins. Everywhere central feels walk-able...

Nice and clean hotel, staff is friendly. Breakfast is included. The hotel location is perfect, walking distance to all the main attractions, Charles Bridge is 2 minutes away , Old Town Square 5 minutes. Even if it is in the Old Town it is located in a quieter street meaning that it was quiet. Less positive: very poor wifi connection....

Great location, a minute walk from all main Prague locations. Curtains were transparent and morning light woke is up every day. Sink was clogged. Breakfast was great. Elevator was a great plus. Air-conditioning was also very helpful.

The hotel is well placed, being right in the centre of things in the old town. The room was clean, very well appointed and appears newly refurbished. Air conditioning worked well and was welcome during the hot weather. However it was very small to the point of being cramped. It would have just about done as a single room but...

The hotel is in a perfect location near to Old Town and Charles Bridge and within walking distance of all the main tourist attractions. We didn't use any public transport whilst in Prague but walked everywhere from the hotel and managed to see all of the sights. It's easy enough to get to from the airport with a 90 minute...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
