This was a stag night to remember - went to this smallish hotel and was happily surprised when we found out it was a nightclub as well. The rooms were a decent size and clean and the location was quite close to the river and the historic buildings of prague. The food was good and the service was decent. Great...

We booked our room 5 months before our trip. One week before we wrote to the lady who owns the place and she confirmed the address of our staying (Nový Svet, 11; it seems she owns several different houses in the same street). The street is just lovely, very quiet, and the houses are beautiful. We loved it. Then we...

Excellent value, very quiet, very quaint. The guest house is located in the west of the old town and is very old and lovely, The cobbled alley it is in is quiet and there is little traffic noise There are 4 rooms; 2 share a bathroom, 1 is en suite, 1 has a private bathroom outside room. There is a...

We spend a few day in this house and I have to say everything was great. the only problem was it is a bit distant location, when you go to clubs or pubs in the Old Town and you stay late, than it takes a lot of walking to get back. I would recommend for older people. The room was...

We booked a room for 3 nights and confirmed the reservation by phone. When we arrived the room was taken and the very unfriendly lady told us without any further explanation that we have to move to an other accommodation - outside the centre. She also refused to give us the reservation fee back!!! Take care when you book this...

The hotel is set on the picturesque cobbled Novy Svet, literally around the corner from Prague castle. It's by no means anything fancy, but I can never justify spending lavish rates on accomodation. Our room was lovely and spacious, with a very rustic feel including chimney breasts and stand alone wardrobes. Prague city as a whole is walkable, and very...

This place really is good value for money. Set in a beautiful little peaceful street, The bathroom was small indeed, but for that price, this location and the quality of the service are very good

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
